I have been working on some 3-d images to stare updating the site with... This has been taking some time as my company is going thru an acquisition and thus requiring significant time devotion elsewhere... However, this seems to be coming to fruition this week...

If you have some nice graphics, .obj, ideas feel free to send them along in a PM... I would love to work on this with another member...

I would love to see you what you guys can come up with for a new site, but I personally believe that unless something is done with membership and club news and or activities, it is pretty much a dead issue. Maybe not to the 175 or so members that are in, but certainly for anyone new trying to join.

I filled out the online form and sent Sennaspirit a PM. Never heard back from him or an email from the website.

Senna has had a rough year.

Started out with some health problems...and from what I understand he's been busy as hell with work!

You may want to send valkryderguy a PM. He talks to senna about once a month when time permits. He'll know more than me.

I really don't have the answer to why the folks that have sent money are not receiving there membership status and decals and cards in the mail. Senna told me about a month back he had all the new decals and cards and had sorted out most of the requests and would be sending out membership materials soon. I post this because it is easier than receiving a bunch of PM's. I just left him a voice mail asking him to log in and give a update on this matter. I also sent him a email and attached a couple of links including this one.

Not sure whats going on with Dave either. I have PM'd and not gotten anything back. I hate to say this because Dave is a buddy but I think if Crossfire International is to continue someone else needs to run it. Otherwise it seems pretty dead in the water. I've tried to join since Carlisle last summer. That's how long this has been going on. I just don't get it.

I would have to agree with Pat here. I have spoken with Dave (Sennaspirit) several times this year and he has said he is right on top of this XFI membership stuff but nothing has been received by many members still waiting. As a moderator I have received some PM's asking what is happening and I simply don't have any answers. Dave (Sennaspirit) has only logged in one time this year on January 3 and if he doesn't log in he doesn't get PM's.

Thanks for the update Gary......although I find this a little unsettling.

1. I hope everything's alright with Dave.
2. I like the idea of having a separate area and designation for the people who love these cars enough to spend a little coin to join the club. I can't speak for everyone......but I give a little more credence to those who post with the XFi designation under their name. To me, it just shows that they are really into the car and are willing to spend a little cash to belong to a community of owners that love the Crossfire as much as me! (no offense to those here who aren't XFi members......call me whatever names you want)

3. I think the "powers that be" here could transfer the powers of XFi administration to someone who could take over, at least on a temporary basis. Someone like........VALKRYDERGUY......if you feel you are up to the task. (don't tell me you wouldn't love it Gary!)

Although I am pretty active here I have heard of the difficulties Senna has had in trying to make the transition from Redcross.
A lot of mis information and then a overload of new folks sending $$ without providing all the required info etc. A real nightmare according to Senna. The only way I would take this on is if Senna sent me all the stickers and membership cards etc. I don't know how easy it will be to sort out 6 months of applications by members who have and have not paid or supplied the required info to establish membership.I will contact Senna and propose this option and see if he wants out. I am unsure if any other party here would need to be involved with this transfer of responsibility. I also don't know how to change a members status to show XFI membership and set up access to the XFI member forum.
