Same to you! My wife kicked me out of the kitchen tonight. I got home before her so I could use the kitchen to clean my turkey, get the brine mixture temp just right, and marinade my bird...ready for the smoker in the morning. All is going well, when she says hurry up and get out, I have to start on my turkey and all the other things she has to do. So what happens.....I'm pouring the hot brine on my turkey, when the sides of the brine bag fold over and half my brine goes onto the counter......all over, and all over the floor. She was not happy, but at least I got my turkey brinning in the ice chest. So I guess I'll be out on the back porch, smoking a cigar and surfin' the net!

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving as well. Don't over do it with the turkey and the alcohol.

I give thanks for having you all as my extended Crossfire family .

My House is full of relatives.

I'm wearing my Deals Gap T shirt and drinking mulled cider from my "The Dragon" mug, looking at my XFire roadster while I read notes from a great group of friends.

A wise man once said to me, "Be thankful for what you have. Be sure you, your family and your friends have enough. Life will be good."

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
My family is all at our house today and we have a nice spread of food to enjoy.
We are not big turkey lovers so we are having fried chicken instead.
I am thankful for many things this year.
I am thankful for being a member of this great forum and I am thankful to have met all the terrific people here at the numerous Crossfire meets I have attended.
I am also thankful to my wife for being supportive in my passion for my car and this forum.

Happy holidays to all,
Gary

This Thanksgiving holiday with its blessings so grand

Should serve to remind us of the joys at hand
The friendships we treasure, our families dear
The love we've been given and shared, year to year
The food at our tables, where many have none
The dawn of each morning beneath the bright sun
The dreams that we carry; the warmth in our hearts
That bring us together when we are apart.

The walks by the lakeshore as stars light the sky
The joys in the children who quickly pass by
The stillness of nature, the comforts of home
Each blessing the greatest that could ever be known
The warm, pleasured scents from the kitchen, delight
Arousing the senses near the firelight
The wondrous decor of the season to come
Good tidings, best wishes for everyone.

The freedom we hold, so to live peacefully
The soldiers who serve us, so diligently
The air that we breathe, the flowers we grow
The brightness of spring, the coldness of snow
Our sons and daughters, our husbands and wives
And the furry creatures who capture our lives

All are blessings we're given to cherish, always
Yet, especially so on Thanksgiving Day.

Celebrate this time for the beauty abound
Be thankful for all of the blessings you've found
For in the end, blessed you will truly be
A soul filled with love, peace and harmony
Happy Thanksgiving, my friends; I am blessed, indeed
I am thankful for the love you have shared, selflessly
May each road that you travel be paved with a smile
Have a wonderful holiday....enjoyed in style!

Happy Thanksgiving Crossfire forum peoples! My wife and I just got back from a an excellent Italian restaurant named Avanti here in Phoenix. Great food! Story has it that Aryton Senna and friends would eat here during the grand prix days in the early 90's.
