Dealer charges @ $190 all said and done.
Does anyone go anywhere else like Jiffy lube or mr. Lube?
I tried to Costco but they don't do the Crossfire because of the "canister" filter.

You might want to check with a Mercedes Dealer. The local one here charges $85. That includes the fleece filter and Moble1 oil. The Chrysler Stealer wants $130. Those are US $$.

I use Pro Oil Change. They stock the Mobil 0W-40 and the filter. Cost is ~$110.00

They know the car as a M-B and stock most of the fluids and filters for it. I trust them more than the 2 stealerships that are closer to me... :-)

Sorry folks... just used them for the 2nd time yesterday for the Xfire- the cost is actually $149.00 - still worth it though, plus I can't do the changes myself ( warranty)

Too bad Windsor doesn't have Pro Oil Change.
Anyone else have any other suggestions?
I might just goto a MB dealership in Detroit Michigan.

Take it to the dealer I bought it from. $150.00. Seems like alot but I change it when the FSS system tells me to. Never have had any issues.

If you are a little handy changing you oil on a cx is quite easy. I purchase a set of RV leveling blocks - they can be used as ramps and store easily. 4 bolts and the belly pan is off - drain plug is real easy to get at - filter is on top of the engine - so simple and save $$$ $60 and mine is done in 30 minutes using Mobile 0-40 syn and filter> There are detailed step by step instructions in this forum> go for it!

I'll just use a jack and take it from there, and if not I will drive the car over to Detroit MB dealer and change it for way cheaper than Canada.

Heck, I live in Warren, MI. Bring the parts, and a 12 of Brador and we'll change it in my garage. It is real simple.

I have got my oil changed at the dealer and at the local lube shop, both cost about $100.00. On vacation in the US it cost me the same at a lube shop.
