Let's see how many Beautiful Crossfires we see in Ottawa during 2009!!!

 

Ok, While mine is in storage for another 3 weeks today I saw, around 8:30 am, turning from st laurent blvd onto the ramp for the shopping center a grey coupe!!!

After I cleaned the drool off the side of my mouth it just made me wonder how fast the rest of the snow is going to melt...maybe I can get mine out of storage earlier???

 

Back in early April, I saw a red coupe at the Loblaws, Innes road, in Orleans. I chatted with the guy who was driving...of course I was in my Murano again.......weather was still too cold for me to take my convertible out of storage.

 

Well ...... There are so few Crossfires in the Ottawa, Ontario area and wouldn't you know it , last week , my mother and not me, saw a yellow convertible Crossfire driving down St-Laurent Blvd not too far from here.....So there is another one in the city or someone was visiting the city and my mother saw it...I wish I had ...excuse the play on words,...but bumped into him/her!

 

I am trying to talk my wife into letting me drive my Xfi to Ottawa later this summer. We love the market in Ottawa. I know she will want to take the bicycles so we can ride along the canal. So if you see a blue MINI Cooper (NY plates) with two bikes on the back..just pretend it's my Xfi.. and say Hello!

 

OK...So look for a Minifire...is that it!

 

If I could figure out how to mount a bike rack on the Xfi we would be in great shape...BUT I would NEVER NEVER put a bike rack on the Xfi.

 

What a catastrophe that would be...a bike rack on an xfire.....just thinking about it makes my stomach turn......

We are only 4 hours from Ottawa, so we try to get there at least one time each summer. My Godmother lives in Ottawa, so we have a little connection to the city. We are (still) trying to find time to come up and skate in the winter on the canal.....

 

Bagpiper - take the Crossfire! You can rent bikes in Ottawa for a reasonable cost. Lots of bike rental spots.

To other Ottawa area owners - Bruce's Auto is a great place to have your tires installed. He has the proper gear and is gentle and careful with the rims.

He specializes in foreign and domestic cars and his prices are low. he has 35 years in the biz.

Tuesday I say a black Crossfire Coupe driving on Bank Street in the South part of the city!


Around 3 pm today I saw a grey Crossfire Coupe driving on St Laurent Boulevard!

It's About time I see a few more on the road in my city!

The red convertible that is in the lot at Ottawa Dodge, doesn't count ...YET...until it's sold!

Jacques, I saw a red roadster just like mine today in Kanata. Sightings are still few and far between!

I still love mine. I wish I could find a new husband so I could share mortgage costs and have more money to spend on my car....I know bad reason to want to find a man...

 

Well I've been driving my Crossfire all over Ottawa Ontario Canada this summer and it seems I only see other Crossfire's when I'm driving my other car!

I saw

-a black coupe on Innes Road in June,

- a red convertible in Stittsville in June, (and I was driving mine for a change)

-a silver coupe on St-Laurent Blvd in July,

-a red convertible in downtown Ottawa in July,

-a black coupe, downtown Ottawa corner of Laurier and O'Connor

Boy, I sure wish there were more of this beautiful car on the roads here!

My mechanic is in Stittsville so I am out there often and I am downtown all the time. It may have been my red convertible you saw. I need to find a condo I can afford downtown - commuting to Kanata sucks. I still have not seen you yet! I drove behind a beautiful silver/blue coupe on the Queensway one day and I saw a black coupe parked at College square last month. I was going to leave the driver a note about this forum but forgot the exact web address...silly me.

In July, Ottawa Dodge on St Laurent had a red convertible on their lot. It hasn't been there in over a month now... I wonder if they sold it or got rid of it at the auction?...Maybe there is another one out there!
