just an update on today's gtg.we had a great time.we also hooked up wit some new owners who were on this site and joined us for the brewery tour and lunch.we saw a very interesting artist and his studio.he has painted a large (6 foot by 12 foot)paintingof the toronto maple leafs.every player that has ever played for the blue and white is in the painting.he has offered it to the acc and leafs to hang in the acc somewhere.thanks for all who came out.the new folks are eager to join cicci and are relatively new owners.one is an srt aero blue and the other is a limited aero blu.both roadsters.tea for more roadsters.togay we had 3 roadsters and one coupe.welcome pierre and norm.they are from pickering area. we had our tops down all day except for when we went on the brewery tour for an hour.no rain ...just a few sprinkles.
Thanks Nick and Beth for organizing a great trip to Neustadt; thanks to Pierre and Norm/Jane for joining us.
It was a very interesting brewery tour and the next door neighbours were even more interesting with all the antiques and artwork and Mssrs McLaughlin's work is fabulous.
Sorry we missed the meeting place at the right time but who would of thunk that Hwy 6 has both a north and south several kilometers apart. Certainly glad we caught you before leaviing the parking lot.
Next on the calendar for us is Woodward Avenue and then we will be looking at September 12th, Legendary Motor Cars GTG
Thanks to all again, Roy and Diane
p.s. check your email for pics of Neustadt

Glad you had a great time though.
yes 180,it was great weather.....we only had a short burst of rain as we were going in to the brewery.by the time we came out ,we with roadsters ,
were worried about the tops having to stay up because of the dampness.the tops were dry however and we kept them down all the way home.unfortunately roy and diane did not see as much of the village as i suspect they wanted to.....so i think this trip may go on to next summer's agenda.again thanks roy and diane for coming and providing great conversation and company.we will organize the eats for the legendary gtg.when i say "we" i mean beth.
Nick, sorry I missed this one. Guess I'm too chicken sh*t when I hear there's a possibility of hail in the weather forecast. Had some bad luck with hail twice last summer with my SUV and in general my luck this year hasn't been stellar, so I wasn't eager to tempt fate.
steve, not a problem.a funny thing happened though....2 new owners showed up that i had no idea about.they saw the info ...did not let me know ...they just showed up.it was great we had 4 cars go up...an d made some new friends.we had 3 roadsters...mine ssb...the 2 new cars were your colour and one of the new ones was an srt6.so we had 2 ssb's(roy and i) and 2 aero blues.the new guys (norm and pierre)had great senses of humour so we had a few laughs.as i said earlier....we had a short down pour during the tour and it was dry the rest of the day.it was cloudy and sunny ...then cloudy...you get the idea.i think i might try this trip again next spring.join us then.
