Default brewery tour in neustadt ontario

just a big thanks to roy for organizing today's visit to the speedshop.just an update on the brewery tour we talked about today.the brewery is located in neustadt ontario.that is an hour north of guelph, just nw of mount forest and just south of hanover.the village of neustadt is famous for being the birth place of our 13th prime minister{ john diefenbaker} and for being selected as one of the 10 prettiest villages in canada by harrowsmith magazine.the tour is $5 and that allows a sample of each beers they brew and a tour of the historic building that is the brewery.my favourite is 10W-30 which is similiar to guiness. there are several small bistros and restaurants that can be visited.the diefenbaker home is also a museum. let me know if there is any interest for july 25th.the tour starts at 2:00 pm sharp.a great spot to meet would be iat 401 and highway 6.people can come from many directions and the we can proceed up through guelph,arthur and mount forest.also it was nice to meet some new x-fire owners today. nick { gryfan}

Nick, I've marked it on my calendar. If I recall correctly, there's a Timmy's on Hwy 6 / 401 NE corner, might be a good spot to congregate? What time are you suggesting we should meet up?

hey guys that is great.timmy's is agreat place to meet.it is located at 6 and 401 {just north of the exit}.i would suggest that we should be ready to roll from horton's at 10:00 am.if you need to fuel up or go to the bathroom....get there a bit earlier.i have taken the liberty to book us in for at lunch at "noah's inn".we need to arrive ther at 12:00 noon so we can have a leasurely lunch and be at the brewery at 2:00 sharp.if you intend to bring some product home from the brewery...please bring a cooler.there are no preservatives in the beer so it needs to be kept chilled.there are several micro-brews on tap at noah's inn.you can also check the menu on line for noah's.also if it is really raining we do not have to go....i have explained that to brian{the owner at noah's and val the owner of the brewery.looking forward to it.all winter long i was dreaming of doi ng tours like this .........here is the chance.remember the more the merrier.the corvette club was just there last week.i am sure we can create just as much excitement with our cars as they evidently did with theirs.

9:30 a.m. for coffee sounds good for us, Hwy #401 & #6 Timmies;

Neustadt Ontario Canada Neustadt Village

For those interested in viewing site.

Roy

p.s.
I had to laugh to myself when I saw Wagg's Custom Meats in Neustadt; in Port Perry, they're called Wagg's Funeral Home.
I hope no relationship between the two businesses!???

I would like to attend but like I mentioned at Carlisle it all depends on work. Some how I mannaged attend 3 meets this year that are 3-9 hours away in a different country and I am unable to attend the local ones. One day I will make it to another local meet!
