Lorne,i have never been to this show...could you give us an idea of what we will see and what to expect.tell us about parking,how many cars,how big an area,is there a licence(if you live in ontario you will know what that means).maybe you can recommend some good places to eat so we can drive home on a full belly.thanks in advance.

Hey Guys. Sorry for the delay on answering your questions about Fleetwood country cruise. I am away from home and only read my Email about once a week. Here goes There are 1000 cars plus,there are Food services on the grounds. There is NO entry fee for your car. EACH person pays $10.00 This money all goes to charity. the countrycruise is quickly coming.we are all coming from different cities.....do we meet in woodstock where tonygg and his group are meeting ,or do we want to meet there at the event? would meeting at the event between 11:00 am and noon be the way to go?let the group know your feelings...so we can decide what is best for the majority.

please let me know if i have accidently forgotten you.the more the merrier.also lorne is there a place that we can meet that is close to the entrance ,this way we can go in together and get parking close to each other.offdutyagain is coming from michigan......it will make it easy for him to find us.
would meeting at 10:00 am in ingersol (exit 216 on the 401) be good for us?that would have us in london @11:00am or so.let me know if that works for you.

you guys should try to meet earlier than what you have planned, You should try to get to the show no latter than 10am as this place gets very busy, THis year Mopar is the feature make and a special area is set aside for them You need to tell them at the gate you want to sit with the mopar group and if you come in together you will get parked together other wise you could be spread out all over . I talked with the the guys on Saturday that went to the Museum and told them the same.I also left them a map of the grounds to show where the Mopar parking is. There is a Tim Hortons in Lambeth on Number 4 hiwy that is just off 401 and 402 this about 5 miles from the show. I will not be able to join you as my Challenger goes in on Friday after noon. I have to be at the Show grounds by 7am Saturday as I have to help with the Mopar parking. See you all there Lorne

 

thanks for the heads up lorne.would meeting in ingersol by 8:30 be a better idea? i'm sure glad we have you on the " inside " lorne to give us pointers. well SOCO members if lorne suggests be there by 10:00 am , i think that we will wait for lorne"s answer to this post........but around 8:30 will be the approximate time.

gryfan that would be a better idea. From 8-11 it is generaly a zoo for trafic the closer you get to the site. Just tell the parking attendants you are with the MOPAR group. See Ya. Lorne
