can you tell me the name of the exit off of 401 in london that is considered the "business exit".there is a strip with fast food ,gas stations and a horton's. offdutyagain from michigan may want to meet us there.i can't remember the name of the exit. thanks in advance.

Just in case Lorne doesn't get this one; the main exit in London is Wellington St. where
all the fast food, hotels, etc. are very near the 401. Been there many times.

Although, I don't have my Xfire here in S.Ont. with me, it is always with me in spirit, thus
I still follow your excitement. Hope you guys have a great GTG at the 'Cruise'.

From what I can gather are you going to meet in London at the Tim Horton's on Wellington Rd South at around 11:00am?

originally we were to meet at 11:00 am in ingersol,but lorne suggested an earlier time would be better.we then decided that 8:30 in ingersol would be better (exit 216 off of the 401).we will be meeting offdutyagain at wellington st. and 401 at the tim horton's.....at 9:00 am.in ingersol we can fuel up...and at horton's," coffee up."looking forward to seeing all of the SOCO members.pray for sunny weather!

we will be having our timbits by 9:am at hortons.we will meet you there .you have beth's cell number if there is a problem.i will wait for you there even if the others leave. so if you have a flat or are running late we (beth and i )will be at hortons waiting for you two.

Maybe I missed something, but is the 8.30 and 9.00 meetings at the same place in Ingersol or two different places?
Simply put is exit #216 also called Wellington Street?

 

I'll be working Friday night until 8am on Sat. where will we be meeting... I'll try and make it ( sleep is SO overated)

 

sorry for the confusion onehundred80, we who are coming from the east will be meeting at 8:30 in ingersol.the same place you guys met when you all went to the museum.we will then leave ingersol and pull off at well ington st. london and hook up with offdutyagain and others coming from michigan.then we will leave wellington st. exit ,london at 9 :00 am...and convoy to the gtg.this way we will all park together because we will arrive together.i hope that clears up any confusion. let's pray for sunshine. i have heard rain for friday....but that will change.

I might be able to join everyone for Saturday. The night before (Friday) Rosie and I willl be in Kitchener supporting a friend who is doing a gig at a pub in Bridgeport. I'm thinking of staying over night and then joining up with everyone for the London meet. My next door neighbour goes every year and has been promoting the event as well......tomorrow is a big Volvo event in Waterdown, where I'll be showing off my '82 240., so the season is getting busy already....! I don't see Crossfires at Volvo events....hmmmm what's with that?!!!!!!!!!

Typically around 30 or 40 cars show up, many modified, a lot of classics, Harvey's put on a BBQ, people's choice awards...more.

Why don't you list a point by point itinerary of the scheduled events.

Example:

-Meeting at 9am in Ingersol at 112 wellington at Tim hortons

-Leaving to Michigan at 9:30am

-driving to where ever next.

I think it would help us all.
