Default Took My Crossfire to Legendary Motor Cars

I took my Crossfire to Legendary Motor Cars http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/site/ yesterday for a quote. Basically re-painting the front bumper among a list of other smaller jobs, all in the interest if enhancing the overall look of the car including adding some bling.

Well....., their shop rate is $90/hr and I know what these jobs typically charge. It wasn't very long into our conversation that I realized Legendary is a little too rich for my pocket and got the sense they didn't really want the job anyway (the discussion started with the painting of the front bumper and we were already approaching $3,000!,). So I left knowing that either I will be spending more money, or looking elsewhere.

I remembered our friend Jim over at Turbo Sportique Turbo Sportique and met with him today. We discussed what needed to be done, how it was going to be done, agreed on a price, and left the car with him for the next three weeks!

The car should look pretty sharp when done....just in time for April spring.

BTW, I'll keep everyone posted regarding the trip to the Canadian Automobile Museum on May 8th.

T.

Just to give you an idea of what I had painted and the cost...
-Front bumper done SSB - matches perfect to the rest of the car
-Hood ... black
-Roof ... black
-Grill ... black
Cost $800

For you to compare $$$ so you don't over pay. What my car looked like when it was getting painted

Cool Re: Took My Crossfire to Legendary Motor Cars

Tony........you should be happy with Jim (TurboSportique); he is somewhat of a perfectionist and if he is not happy with the paint work done by his friend Nash down the way, he will have it redone.

Did you talk to him about the front spoiler for your car?

I am thoroughly happy with mine and keeping the front end down and stable on the highway is like a different car.

All the best.
