A good little generalized article though, of course, there's so much more to the differences between our countries. What's intriguing is that it's apparent that when both (or several) political parties start working together that good things can be achieved.

What do you think 180? How do you feel your country is doing?

On a personal note - I'd move to Cape Breton in a heartbeat if Canada was a little easier to retire to.

I spend 4-5mths in the U.S. each year and follow your politics probably more than Canadian politics..............it seems to be much more fun.

You are quite correct when you say that if the two parties could work together, much more would be achieved................it is ridiculous to take a step forward and then want to take two steps backwards.....repeal of health reform is an example.

Anyways, Canada is doing very well considering that they never experienced any of the economic problems that occurred in the U.S., especially in the real estate and financial sectors. Compared to what happened in the U.S., you guys made us look really good!

I think the Washington Times was sorta hinting at that.
