Hold off calling your guy as I think we have found a very reasonably priced local supplier. I will be meeting the guy this week to work out the details.
But thanks for helping out.
Would still like to do a Buffalo run for wings/beer!

We would be interested to know what the pricing would be for the Hankook V12 EVO's in the following sizes:
225/35/19's X 2 + 275/30/20's X 2 for a set of 4 tires?
You did not mention the tire retailer but just in case you're still researching, you might wish to check out:
Bailey Tire Inc. @ 536 Englewood Ave., Buffalo, NY 14223
Contact is: Dan Brace Jr. @ sales@buffalonytires.com
Tel: 716-834-4434
We've found them to be very competitive in the past, providing excellent service + after sales support.

Well guys, just had my tires installed this afternoon and as we already know they are what all the others have said, considerably quieter than the stock Continentals and they seem to feel allot stickier! (is that a word "who cares") anyways they feel nice and warm to the touch after you stop. I feel this is one reason they are quieter possibly due to a soffter compound, not sure if I will get 40k (kilometers) out of them, but it is not a commuter car, just ment for fun!
We, (Sparkie and I) managed to get what I think was a reasonable price on these, and I'm sure once Steve has his installed we can report on if the experiance is all worth it in the end ( we need to find out if the guy will do more for the price we paid) also I will let Steve report on the treatment of his perfect wheels, Mine have a considerable amount of road rash and it is difficult for me to say weather they are worse or not, They were so dirty after the install from soap and mucked up brake dust, I did think they looked worse but felt that it was possibly in my head as they change tires on new fancy chrome rims for a living and I'm sure they do not scuff them up, so I still think my rims were that bad!
Any ways I just wanted to report that it was a plesant and doticable differance with the new Hankook's
We went with 235/40/18 on the front and 275/35/19 on the back.

I had mine installed last tuesday and can vouch they did not mark my rims whatsoever. They even went as far to show me any existing marks on my rims prior to installation.
I went with 225/35/19 & 285/30/20 and even had them put in my old sensors all for the grand total $1040 cash.
I've been really happy with the tires so far and can say even with all of the rain we've had the traction is very good in the wet conditions.
I'm liking these tires so far!

Crossfire Replacement Tires?
Looks like the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO is proving to be a very popular tire among forum members!
We just purchased the following set-up for our roadster at what we think are very competitive prices.
2 X 225/35R19XL @ $160. USD ea. for a total of $320.00
2 X 275/30R/20XL @ $217. USD ea. for a total of $434.00
Grand total for a set of four tires was $754.00 USD.
If anyone is interested in tires like these, we can tell you where to buy them. The vendor will negotiate even slightly better pricing for group buys.
We're hoping to have them up & running on new Mandrus rims by the end of the month.

Are you trying to give away my secret location. Those co-ordinates are the Orangeville Liquor Store. Let me guess, you have them saved under "FAVORITES" in your GPS?
