Weather permitting Lynda and I will be going, where do you want to meet, we will be heading down from Barrie.

We will confirm towards the end of the week weather looks ok on the long range right now.

How about we meet at 8:00AM at the Tim's on the west side of Mavis Rd just one block south of the 401, We are then only one more exit away from Mississauga Road.

Tim's address:

800 Bancroft Dr
Mississauga, Ontario L5V 1X7

Phone: (905) 286-9780

This should be a good location because so far most are coming from the North and East. Dave and I will just be getting on the 401 at the 410 and Mavis is right there. Let me know if this works for everyone.

Why not bring your beast and join in? It will be great to meet you either way.

Sorry... I won't be attending this one. I already have plans to be in Niagara Falls. It is not a crossfire thing, but has alot of nice newer cars.
That's OK Bryan...you could be attending this...
Canadian Volvo Club: Other Volvo Events

Hi, sparkie! I am still planning on going - probably early if it means I'll avoid rain. If there is a chance of rain, I won't be bringing the Crossfire though!

Not looking too promising weather wise. We'll see what it's like in the morning.

I washed the car so it had better be nice. What time are you deciding to go or not?
Tims at 8am if we go.

There were the predictable great carburated rides. Other than that, I was not overly impressed. Still, nicer to have it than not to have it. I wish that Chrysler would take a more significant role. Sticking the swap and vendor folks against a building wall, down a muddy, ditry and waterfilled parking area was just very poor optics IMO.

I'd like to see the Chrysler folks put in about the same effort that they'd put into a golf tournament.

Too bad there was nothing that even approximated a Crossfire anywhere!

There were two Crossfires last year, my one and a roadster. I was parked close to the best in show, a nice van, a very very nice van.
