It mind sounds dorky but that is why I purchased Vespas for my wife and I 2 years ago. I get near 75 mpg. it is great for little store runs, going to the gym ext. I know it would not work for everyone but works great for us.

How's the 'wireless' control module working that the dealer installed?

Have had my 2005 Crossfire Limited convertible for a year and a half and have NEVER PUT ANYTHING BUT 89 OCTANE REGULAR FUEL IN IT and it runs perfectly. It had 7,900 miles on it when I purchased it and now have 15,739 miles on it. I also have had two 2002 Thunderbirds and presently a 2004 T-Bird that supposedly require premium fuel and have never put anything but regular in them.....NO PROBLEMS. So save yourselves some $$$$ and try regular.

I'm glad you fellas are happy with the cheaper lower energy fuels.
But in truth you're not really saving anything.
Fortunately, you aren't hurting your engines because they are built to retard the timing and save themselves.
BTW, the advanced timing in recip engines,,,,it's how we get better a fuel efficiency out of them.
jus sayin.
Gas here for premium, just went back down under $4.00 a US gallon.
Bet they get to $3.40 for Premium and just under $3.00 for cheap @ss regular by October/ Novemember. Just in time for sumtim' we are not supposed to talk about.
