Eurocharged...
That didn't take long! Nice to hear you guys are tuned up Tony and Norm. I suppose you three met with Mike somewhere in Toronto.
You just might be able to overtake me next time we hit the Watkins Glen Tony

Notice the difference?
Driving home the short two blocks, I noticed the rev limitation (or lack of) immediately. I stomped it in 2nd gear at one point and it "appeared" or "felt" to have more power...but am not convinced at this time....
I'm taking the Crossfire out later today and will report back.

Do I notice a difference? Yes.
The car appears to have taken on a new "character"...
Is it faster from a dead start? Yes.
Is it OMG flying by the seat of your pants fast? No. But IMO this is to be expected from an N/A engine with virtually no other mods.
Yes, the rev limiter is now gone which means more freedom in raising the revs, but with the knowledge that more care needs to be taken with the Tach. Over revving an engine isn't doing it any favours IMO. Yes, the fan runs longer now to aid in cooling and the car that idled at 900rpms, now idles at just under 800rpms. I have always preferred lower idle speeds in all my cars.
We all know that the true test is on a dyno, with hard numbers presented as comparison. So my comments are simply how the car is now perceived in my mind. Wishful thinking after forking out $350? Maybe, but as already mentioned, the tachometer is now reading differently and the car "feels" quicker....
Worth $350?....it is what it is......
Today I drove through neighbourhoods, the #401 & #407.

I think you would have been better served by doing the 75mm TB and MB air intake
So, after a little over a month, any more updates in how you feel about your tune? I ordered mine today and I don't want buyers remorse.............so I'm hoping your experience is still a positve one. Your overall summary was useful. Quicker from a start, etc.........however the lower RPM and the fan summary made me start thinking. A couple questions if you don't mind. First, with the lower RPM's, does it affect the smoothness of idle or is it just idling lower? As far as the upper RPMs, I don't race mine but I do drive the vehicle with spirit. Do you percieve any issues with the higher RPMs under normal conditions? Is the car temp gauge showing hotter all the time or not? As far as the fans operation, is it very noticable? or just a little more frequent than normal. Thanks for any input you can provide.

The engine without a doubt is running smoother which becomes apparent when shifting...the car feels more "spirited" and the improved hp, regardless of how little the fact, is noticeable. The lack of a rev limiter allows you to push the car harder without "big brother" interfering. Something experienced previously and found very annoying. The lower idle speed is nothing more then something I noticed immediately on the tach. All other values including the engine temperature remain unchanged at "normal". The extended running time for the fan I haven't noticed but apparently is listed among the improvements....all in all no regrets. IMHO tweaking software is a more elegant way of modifying a cars performance compared to hardware changes. If you have the spare cash....go for it!
DON'T STOP THERE !!
1. 74mm throttle body.
2. Needswings CAI ( single or double, get the single, not enough improvement with the double for the $$$ )
3. optional : c320 engine cover to cover up the naked lady ......

And it will look like this
Looks great. I thought about the CAI and still may at some point, but I'm likely going to do the dual -- even though by their own admission it's overkill for the NA. I'm just a fan of symetry. However, you're set up may be enough for me to overcome the symetry issue (and save some money) and just go with the single.
I love a clean engine!!!!!!!!!!!!
