If you've never been to (never heard of?) Merrickville, Ontario, it's a beautiful little town set on the Rideau Canal system about midway between Ottawa and Brockville. Very quaint with historic buildings, terrific little shops and great restaurants with some great little back roads to get there. It's also home to one of Eastern Ontario's best car shows every year coming up on July 8th - check it out at Welcome to the 2012 Merrickville Car Show. There will be a couple of us there for sure - can anyone else make the trip?
Also - check out the "So Many Roads..." thread below - any takers?

 

I'll be there for sure. We might see a couple from the SOCO group as well. Are your rotors nearing Ogdensburg?

 

What a great day! You couldn't ask for more - sunshine, blue skies, not too hot, and good friends with nice cars. It was a pleasure meeting Hal & Gwen and great to spend another day with Mario.
I look forward to the next one.

 

I agree, Gwen and I had a great day and nice to meet the strond "east Ontario group. We should plan to set the second Sunday in july aside and get more of the SOCO group together, and the out of towners perhaps could stay at one of the great bed and breakfest places, which I have a list of.

I enjoyed this cruise-in also. My guess is 1000+ cars present with perfect weather to appreciate it all. It was nice to see you again Gwen and Hal and glad you made it back safely. Hope to see you soon in the Brockville area. The poker run is coming soon!
