Are you aware that Rapid Revolutions in Edmonton is an Upsolute chip dealer in Canada?
I am thinking of driving down there in August to get chipped! If you talk to them or get your car done, please let me know how thier service is.
Thanks

Hi again, just wanteed to say that I finally got my baby home safe and sound, there was some delay due to the road conditions as I did not want it to sit with road salt under it until May.the roads were nice and dry and I went to get it.the dealer left it inside for me for almost a week and the way these Alberta clippers come out of nowhere I thought I better get it while the getting was optimal.at any rate it seems pretty happy sitting in its new home, although my Neon has a resentment as I had to make room for the Xfire.....this thing is SWEET.hope you all have a great day.....Lukester

Wow, bet you can't wait til May. Going from a Neon to the Xfire will be exciting.

Yes,I have driven both the coupe and the convertible and to be honest I would have liked the convertible better, but this deal was one in a million and I could not walk away.I am just grateful that at long last I have fufilled a dream of mine to have my very own 2seater coupe.I work for DC and did not want to buy a Vette or a Viper. When the company came out with this I thought maybe this is the one I have been waiting for.

Hi Guys! Just wanted to say hello to all my fellow Canadians... Just got my new 2004 a week ago here in Vancouver, and am loving every minute of it. Bought the SIlver/Blue six speed with charcoal leather...

Lovin' it!

Bill

Cool Re: I am Canadian! Heh

Hi Bill, sounds like you got the same Xfire as mine. Mine is two-tone gray interior.
Had mine since last April and have over 10,000km on the car. No problems at all.

I think with a little luck you will like the car and enjoy driving it. What serial number did you get?

Hey ViffeR and Eddy:

Welcome to the forum from another Vancouverite. Hey Bill, did you get the convertible? I saw one drive by me on Hastings about a week ago.

ViffeR:

I think there are 4 of us in Vancouver now. I have seen a Blue convertible a couple of times, but I think it might be a salesman driving it around. I also know of another black Crossfire in Vancouver (not Eddy) who is a member on this forum (can't remember his name), there's me, you, and Eddy.

PS: I found him - its "Wired" and he apparently lives in Burnaby. ;-)

Eddy:
If your thermo is in Farenheit, are you driving a US model? Do you have Daytime Running Lights? Is your speedo in Miles?

If so, you need to take it to a dealer and have them change the programming with their DRB scanner. The country code needs to be set. There is no option to change the thermo from F to C, as far as I know.

And I haven't seen you, although I travel from Burnaby to Poco on the Barnett, and my other common route is Freeway from Burnaby to Chilliwack.

I have the daytime running lights, the speedo shows KM, next time I'm at the dealer I'll have them check the counrty code.

Eddy,
Once you have your car checked out, please get back to me about the Celcius as I need to have the same thing done too.

I picked up an '04 coupe last week and am amazed at how many Ontario dealers have left over '04s. Prices here in Ontario are pretty reasonable and I would suspect that some of the cars may actually end up being shipped to other markets where the dealers can get full list for a car. Hey you can't even buy a Mercedes (MB make the Crossfire) for the price of a left over '04 Crossfire. This may be one of the best kept secrets around!
