For Mercedes, I have 5 confirmed cars now, so basically I still need 5 more for the GB pricing. So either a mix and match of 5 more from Crossfire/Mercedes.

I don't see much interest showing up for this GB, please give me some comments or suggestions.

I think you may be a little too early for a group buy around the TO area; probably too cold and crummy roads right now. Why not delay until May or is it not needed then as business will be more brisk anyways.

Well, basically I'm gathering a list of people who are interested in having it done. Basically I might have the offer till end of March which should be warm enough to have the cars out from winter storage.

I have more than enough cars for the Mercedes GB now. I have reworked the GB pricing by a bit and can lower the price to $500cdn installed with tax, cash only. So basically even saving more.

The offer ends March 11, 2003. For those who do not have their car out of storage yet, you can always take out your ECU and bring it to me to have it done.

Our programs are undetectable by dealership diagnostic tools, so basically they won't know the ECU has been upgraded with a better program. The gains are noticeable, but normal driving in and out of the service bays, they will not tell the difference. And the program will not affect other parts of the car as the increase is not alot and will not put alot more stress on other parts of the car.

Upsolute programs basically optimizes the use of 91octane fuel, so basically there is no harm done unless you are running the program with fuel lower than 91 octane. I have had several customers letting me know they got an improved 10% fuel mileage, so basically they got roughly 50km more per tank of gas together with power increase and smoother throttle response.

You can email me at gary@10xtuning.com or call me at 416-841-4333 to book a time to have it installed. If it's too far for you to drive here, you can ship us the ECU and we can have it done the same day and shipped back with next day shipping. We offer free next day shipping together with the programs for those who ship us the ECU, so you only pay for the shipping for shipping the ECU to us.

dariushashrafi: You can try searching for "Upsolute" in this forum and you will find plenty of reviews and information about Upsolute chips and other chips as I can't compare it myself as I never tried the competitiors chips, so I can't say anything about them.

your chip sounds fine as long as it is undetectable. I'm thinking later in the year. why so long to install chip. the one for my truck ( dodge Cummings takes 5 to 10 min, Just to make sure I woiul change it out for service visits

Basically I can do it in less than 15min, but 1/2 hour includes driving the car into the shop, taking the ECU out, get the equipment ready, unsolder the chip, reprogramming the chip, soldering it back on, double checking, putting back the ECU back in and driving the car back out.

The chip is permanently soldered on, so it's not possible to take it out

We have the equipment to do the programming through the OBD2 port now. We have not tested it on the Crossfires, but it works on the Mercedes, so I assume it should be the same as the electrical system is the same as the SLK.

So no more soldering is needed and opening up of the ECU.

Please clarify "programming through the OBD2 port now".

What if your assumption is wrong?

It's working for most of the 02+ audi, vw, bmw, mercedes, porsches. The ECU and electrical system is the same as the Mercedes or almost the same, so it should work.

If it doenst work, it just wont let me communicate with the system, so I will just do it the same old way of opening up the ECU and reprogramming the eprom chip. But there's a big chance of that it will work. I'm willing to offer a discount for the first car to try this out though, but as I said, it will most likely work as the car is almost identical to a SLK.
