Applefest Car Show
Went to a car show today in Franklin Pa. Saw a lot of unique vehicles, but no Crossfires. Mine was there, but not in the show. Thought you might like to see some of the more unusual ones.

You should have entered your car and showed everybody what a "rare" car really looks like.

It's just one of the estimated 2,000 "other" ones.
Very Kool! Why didn't you enter yours? We are every much as Kool as those cars! Love the old Isotta though.
I've entered my XFR in two shows so far, the first I brought home a Top Three 80 & up factory originals plaque the second we kind of got lost in an overwhelming crowd. Here's a pic from my win...I was a late entry up against 5 Corvettes and a 30th Anniversary Mustang...the Corvettes on the far end packed home without an award. Oops I'm having trouble uploading right now, I'll post when I can...Thanks for sharing your experience and next time don't be shy about entering!

Have a great one and let me know if there are any interesting shows we might show up at together...I'm retired and have plenty of time...hence the mirror like finish of my red roadster, LOL!

Nice photos Rick! I enjoy all of them, but for some reason the Duster captured my attention. A Very Clean car.

Yes it was a very nice car, between the color and it's pristine condition, it was a real eye catcher. one of my first "practical" cars after Peggy and I got married was a used '71 Demon with a slant six and 3 on the tree. That car just ran and ran, never did a thing to it, could very well still be running today.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed the AMX in your photo had chrome bumpers, while the BB cars had bumpers painted the same color as the car in 1969.
Your "keen" eye spotted the discrepancy. It is indeed a factory color, "Surfside Turquoise" but from a later year, 1971/72. Much better looking than BB Blue in my opinion.
Good thing there wasn't a "Brown" one there. It would have "stole" the show.

It like the classics to look at, not to drive anymore! As for their prices ? '67 stock 326 firebirds, 289 '64 - '71 mustangs asking $25k? Makes a stock SRT6 seem like free!
