What's up!!!
Had a great time as usual. Hats off to the organizers. It was a pleasure seeing old faces along with some new faces. I look forward to seeing everyone again in the near future. Hope everyone arrived back home safely. I am already looking forward to next year. Congrats to all the winners!

Thanks to all the organizers, could not have had a better time, especailly being my first time meeting everyone. Sorry I missed everyone on Sunday morning for breakfast I think it was that last shot of Rum that Beaner gave me about 1:00 A.M.. Looking forward to the next event.

Haha, kidding. On a slightly more serious note, I can't remember all the winners but Chas (ichon) won best coupe and James (jediracer) won best roadster...in the CICCI voting.
Chas was staying on Sunday for the trophy and awards presentation...He will have to let you know what awards he (or anyone else) won for the show.

Got home safe, early evening, no problems. Great seeing our old friends and our new "old friends" too. The cars were numerous and did a good job to promote the Crossfire. Many of the people walking around checking out the cars said they weren't aware of the car, the different models or how great they look. The only negative I heard was about Mercedes being at a Mopar/Chrysler show
.
Overall our little cars were a hit, lots of photos being taken, CICCI did an excellent job, if you are considering Carlisle in the future make the trip- it's well worth it.

Okay so here is my big news about my experience with Carlisle...
I DIDN'T GO...
The reason being I didn't have a Crossfire to call my own...
The irony of it all is that I'm officially picking my Xfire up tonight. THE DAY AFTER THE CARLISLE SHOW!!!
Sorry bout the caps but I'm just so aggrevated because now I have to wait 364 more days for my chance to meet you all and show off my flashy ride. ARGGGGGG.
Well anyway is it too early to sign up for next year now?
Ron.
P.S. hope everybody made it home safe!!!

I'm sorry I was there Thursday to Sunday and never made it over to say hi.
I was busy talking to customers (totally auto Inc) and judgeing the SME cars.
I did however tell everyone that asked about my crossfire about this great site.

We arrived at the fairgrounds around 9:30 and lined up all the Crossfires and began the detailing process again.
I believe we had 43 Crossfires present.
There were many who walked by and stopped to really look at all our Crossfires.
Grace and Carmella tended to the CICCI store and sales were pretty good on CICCI merchandise.
Adam's polishes was present out at the show as well and several including my self purchased products with the 15% show discount that they had available.
The day remained free of rain although it remained cloudy until about 3:00 when the sun came out and it started heating things up.
Until then it was comfortable and breezy and was a really decent day for the show.
We arrived back at the hotel around 5pm and some of us went in the pool.
Lots of fun and kidding around while trying to play volleyball with a beachball and no net.
We are not very good at this as we quickly found out...lol
I officially called it the "Crossfire Special Olympics"
Dinner began at 7pm and the food was terrific..(Thanks Tony).
After dinner awards were presented and Patpur did an outstanding job recapping how CICCI began and where we are today.
We also signed up a few new members to the club
We raised $1200.00 with the silent auction and cash donations for this years charity "CHILDRENS CANCER RECOVERY FOUNDATION", HARRISBURG, PA.
We had two representatives present at dinner to accept the check for the foundation.
This was a very good turnout for CICCI here at Carlisle and I want to thank everyone involved with the planning as well as everyone who took the time to come out and be a part of this fantastic event
Thank You so much and we hope to see you come back next year
