Something is really odd. A smart car won last year with nearly twice the points over the second place car.

It must be the novelty, as there are not many on the road here in the US. Saw lots in Germany last year where gas was $8.00 a gallon. Is this the car of the future? God I hope not!

Not the car of the "future" as far as MPG. Honda had a couple of cars years ago that got better MPG than the Smart does.
Heck, my hopped up Chevy Metro gets better gas mileage AND it's FASTER!
