We may need to change this date as the 23rd is Easter sat, a few people may be doing family things, so I suggest we change it to Friday afternoon say 5pm on April 29 or the first weekend in May. and do we want Sat just for lunch or Friday, night for dinner and the car show ,,anyone !!!

In late October there is going to be a big car show in Ocala. There are already more than 1800 cars set to be there. It will be at Bernadette Castro's estate. I will post more info when I get it. Lets make a good showing.

There's about 20 of us in the Orlando area. I'm moving to Celebration in a few weeks. Perhaps a GTG on a weekend day when there's no events going on in Celebration. Should give the tourists a chance for some good pics.....

 

Heading over to sawgrass mills on the 838 in that case. The lady needs to do some shopping. Anyone live close? Would have been cool to meet up with some xf owners IRL when being here in the states.

 

you started a pole and then droped the ball we could have had a gtg tonight ,,lite dinner then car show but please tell me what happened,, i did have a gtg set up for a few weeks ago with 7 x fire owners comming on a Sat. for lunch,, then your set up your pole and everything went to s*** sorry to be so blunt but truth is truth, so set up a gtg and i'll be there, anywhere in south fl. jim

 

Well a gtg would have been nice but not my prio one as I am here on vacation. So as I saw already the gtg poll last week was weak I put it aside. Me being the person that comes from the other side of the pond do not want to be the one who runs the gtg. I only like doing polls as someone earlier on this thread had problems on setting a schedule. Well the weather sucked yesterday so it was not meant to be. Shopping made the missus happy at least.

Off to do some tanning.

 

Usually I wouldn't say anything, however you did initiate this, it could have been a great opportunity for enthusiasts to meet up. Are you an enthusiast? You weren't running anything, your support is all anyone was looking for.

And considering how much of a resource the people of this forum have been to you in your quest (not just in Florida but everywhere), it just comes as a shock, that's all. Somewhat disrespectful, but it is what it is.

AMX, I'll send you a PM soon to figure out another date we can use for the local Crossfire people to meet up, its been a while since I've met up.
