AMX, I'll send you a PM soon to figure out another date we can use for the local Crossfire people to meet up, its been a while since I've met up.

Now that sounds like the makings of a plan

Sounds good to me as well. Great area and easy to get to from anywhere in Central Florida.

I found this listing of car shows in the Central Florida area. I am not sure if one of these is any "better" than the rest, what do you guys think? Take a look and lets collectively pick one.

I was going to throw out the Lake Mary event on May 14th. Little more advance time and the park sounds nice.

The DJ sounds perfect for some of you old-timers.

I think the Lake Mary event sounds great! I am in for a nice cruise in. Maybe we could go grab an ice cream after.

Iniate? Well I just asked if something wad going on and then I made a poll. It is way easier for you who lives here as I am just a snowbird having several appointments and so forth to attend in minimal time. I did not mean to disrespect anyone by not "running it. I for instance am not really familiar to this country, Florida nor the language so I felt like soneone who knows the area should have been carrying the flag. But hey, for each day I spend here the more I get to know about everything. So there is an explanation and hope the shock did not cause you any harm. support is always there. Enthusiast?well to somewhat degree yes I am but priorities makes the degree decrease from time to time. I hope to be able to join a meet and greet another time I am in FL. Worth highlighting my apologies to anyone that felt I disrespected them in any way by not showing up. But as we all saw Weather was awful.

Off to tanning salong..

My rocket survived a brutal heat soaking at the track Sunday and still had several 11.9's. Yes, Lake Mary is a definite for me.

And Kim, how about eating ice cream all day instead, I'm game!

So this event is at night, I assume we could all meet up earlier in the day for our own "Crossfire time together"? Perhaps lunch followed by ice cream and we'll saunter over to the show at 5pm?

I think one of the reasons that the Florida XF's struggle to get together is because of the size of our state. I think that we should take a page from the folks in TX & do regional meets. It sounded like Jim had a great idea for a few weeks ago in S FL but no one with a job in central FL could make a Friday evening event.

Saturdays work well to get everyone together but its still a long way to drive for folks in the ends of our state.

I am looking forward to the cruise-in Lake Mary May 14th - it would be great if people from outside the central FL area could make it, but with today's gas prices it gets a little tough. I think a nice late lunch (or REALLY early dinner) before the cruise in would be great. Nice chance to hang out with our XF friends.

Anyone have an idea of a lunch/dinner location?

Speaking of Florida, last Friday evening whilst driving home with a quick stop at Best Buy. I noticed what looked like a similar year Chrysler coming up behind me. As you know they have a grill similar to the Crossfire as well as the high-speed rain channels on the hood. However, as this car got closer I could see that it was a white Crossfire, just like the one I was driving.

I wondered if he was local, soon he (and lady occupant) passed me by with a hand out the window waving, I tooted the horn back at them and noticed that not only was the car a Florida Car, but it also had the same license plate frame as I have. As we neared Best Buy I could see he was making the same left turn off 436, wow, I thought is he going to Best Buy too? But no, he passed the entrance to the store and headed into a sub-division. Well, if he lives there, we are almost neighbors.

So, white Crossfire driver in Altamonte Springs, the next time we cross paths, toot the horn and we’ll have coffee.

If you are in Altamonte Springs on 436 you need to keep an eye out for John & Ben Book's 2 black coupes getting toward the Apopka area & my yellow roadster in Winter Park. Are you going to go to the Lake Mary Cruise In May 14th???
