RSVP is not required ample parking is available and Im sure many attending will not be aware of the RSVP this is just a free cruise in and BS session. The park is located less than a mile off of interstate 80 exit 60 AKA Shippenville exit and is on the left signs are very well placed and wont be missed!

Places to eat and all with in a few miles include:
RRR aka Red River Road House - awesome stake house!
Applebees
DQ
Bobs Sub - Very very good not easy to find tho...
Many fast food joints

All restaurants are easily found on a GPS Tom Tom or Garmin

I plan on doing mostly Pa shows this year. I can probably make it to this event. Have you been to it before? Is it just for imports? Sounds more like a get together than a car show. But I am fine with that, nice to see other cars. Might skip the cruise if it is only Honda's etc though.

 

Well this isn't an annual event I was told by a bunch of buddys about it. There is no "cruise" your just free to come and go as you please no registration no cost just drive in drive out. The cars showing up will be a wide range, mostly monster dsms and a bunch of wild turbo VWs and Audis a bunch of guys from Pittsburgh are planning on coming to so who knows what they may bring! I'm sure a few nasty hondas will show as well but ya can't help that.

 

Sounds like a good event. Too bad we don't have a Pa Crossfire Club. I am planning on attending and I really don't mind those Honda's, except for the fart can mufflers they seem to love.

 

Haha they sure do love love fart cans... You cant forget the ridiculous ***** they bolt on to the trunk as well!

It's starting to look like we may be able to make this show, what time are you planning on getting there? And is there anybody else thinking about going?

 

Rick, as of now I know of 3 other crossfire owners including myself that are attending. A few others did show some intrest tho so ya never know. The show starts at 2pm but im sure they will start rolling in before that. I plan on ariving right around 2. Hope you show thanks!

FYI I posted a screen shot of a google map to the park from interstate 80 at the top of the page.

 

The show just got bigger!! The PT cruiser group is meeting at the same place tomorrow... Although i find those cars to be a visual train wreck the guys that have them do some pretty crazy and tasteful mods....

 

If anyone has a good camera, we should try to get all the people that have learned about the show through .org or the members together, well at least their cars, and post it on .org. It would be nice to show not all of us live in New York or St. Louis. I don't mean just Crossfire owners. We all have friends and family that drive all kinds of cars. Crossfire only events are great, but it isn't the only car out there. OK, Maybe we just need a few pictures of the show.

 

I will bring my camera, I usually try to take a few pictures especially when I get around other Crossfires. We will be there by 2 and hopefully another Crossfire or 2 will be with us.

It was great meeting everyone today. You did a good job getting 5 Crossfires and some imports to show up for the GTG. Hope to see everyone at Carlisle. If you can even make only Saturday there will be more MoPar's there than you will believe. Also a bunch of crazed Crossfire owners.

 

Jerid, it was real nice to meet you and your friends. Your car looked great.
You need to work on your neighbor (with the black roadster) to get him to join the forum.
As Ron said, if it's at all possible, Carlisle is the place to be....hope to see ya there. Thanks for giving us a heads-up about the show.

Thank you guys for coming out! Pretty bummed about the turn out tho... I'm planning on going out to Carlisle as long as everything works out... Where do you guys stay when you go? Should I worry about booking a hotel room or shouldn't this be a problem? I would really hate to book it and not be able to make it! Also are you guys entering your cars? I don't know how this all works so excuse the ignorance...
