I am going to Vegas on Saturday the 28th and returning Wednesday morning. Let me see how things are going. Ashley turns 21 May 29th. Should be interesting being in Vegas with her, wife and AMA's boyfriend.

 

Do we have an attending list for this event yet? I know that it is short notice but I think we should be able to get a pretty good group together. Allan can kidnap a bunch of the XF's in the villages to come along. Maybe we could send a mass PM to everyone who came to the last one & make sure they know about this event. Just an idea.

Also can we put together a list of items required for the picnic (and owners) so there are fewer doubles, triples of things, etc.

hot dogs
hamburgers (vegetarian diet alternatives?)
plates
cutlery
napkins
condiments (mustard, ketchup, relish, onions)
chips
drinks (cola, beer, water)
cooler(s)
side dishes (beans, watermelon, potato salad, coleslaw)


What can we add?

 

If we do a BYO lunch then it shouldn't be a big deal. There are plenty of places to pick up something to-go. Sorry but no beer at the park. Kim, do you want to start the list? I have a busy weekend with about 40 folks plus family in town for my Mom's 80th Birthday.

 

I will try to get other crossfire owners from The Villages. I haven't had much luck in the past.

I liked the way the picnic was done last time. Good food and a good time...

Yes, there is a very nice grill. Just let me know if I need to bring anything other than lunch for the grill.

 

I have no idea what I will bring for lunch. I have been on a diet. Lost 38 lbs. Just went up north for five days and gained 5 lbs. Need to loose 20 more.

 

Congrats on the weight loss. I wish I could do that! Pick up a nice salad from Winn Dixie or Publix and some ice tea... I am planning to have a large ice coffee in the place of ice cream when we go to Baskin Robbins. I am also working on some coupons or group discount. There is a really neat area next to the ice cream shop for pics. I was thinking about an Apopka Police Escort to the Baskin Robbins but they also have a Dunkin Donuts attached and I thought they might not think that it was funny...

 

I am sitting in this very Dunkin Donuts parking lot waiting for them to open...5 more min....and yes I am here all the time and know most of the girls that work here. BTW its for the coffee, not the donuts

I wish I had time to start the list, but this is my first time even on the forum in several days. I am currently doing the work of 3 people at work without an end in sight. Its also month end & a holiday weekend - the toughest time for us. I am really looking forward to relaxing at our picnic!
