We have set the date for our next Central Florida GTG Cookout. It will be Sunday June 5, 2011 at Trimble Part in Mt. Dora @ 11:00am. The address is 5802 Trimble Park Road Mt. Dora Florida 32757. My cell number is 321-947-0105. At our last GTG in Mt. Dora we worked the budget for the food drinks on a per person cost. Please let me know if that is what everyone wants or bring your own and cook out. Kim arranged a ride, photo opportunity and ice cream last time and it went well. Tim, I'll be there.......and if we can do like last time....that was GREAT!!! But I realize that it is a lot more work for you, so how ever you say is fine with me.

 

I am in as well! Tim we can do it either way. We can even set it up a a BYOPicnic. I think it would fun to get a photo op in downtown Mt Dora. I will see about setting that up.

 

That's a great idea also!! You can't go wrong with that and is a lot less work for Tim......or more time to socialize.

I know we really want to do a track day too. I think it is getting a little hot to send my baby hurtling down a 1/4 track for the first time. We might save that GTG for October when the weather breaks. My car registered 110F on Friday. That is insane!!!

 

Thank goodness Trimble park has a lot of shade trees. I am sitting in my car right now in a parking lot with the AC blowing and the temp gauge is at 118. I know its not quite that hot i'm sure the qauge is off but you get the point.

 

I just got back from Trimble Park and our spot is reserved and paid for!

I believe we went for ice cream after this.

 

I think we decided on a BYO picnic. Maybe a trip for ice cream to finish things off.

Tim, do you know of a good ice cream parlor somewhere near?......or we could always make the run to South Daytona to Cowlicks!!

 

My Buddy Mark's daughter is a Shift Manager at the downtown Apopka Baskin Robbins. There is also another park just around the corner for additional photo opps.. We have a couple of options for different routes for a fun drive back to town.

 

Alrighty then!! Sounds like you have a plan and I'm looking forward to it.

 

I am also... have you heard from Randy lately? We should be able to get a few more of us together (a lot more would be better). I feel sure the weather will be nice.
