There was a "custom" Crossfire on EBAY (or Craigslist) a while back that had a SLK front end grafted onto it.
Some people liked it, others...not so much. One thing for sure, it was something very different.
I could't find it, but there are some photos of it somewhere here in the forum archives.

no......................................don't put anything on your crossfire that is MB or AMG in nature.... they won't fit....no..... don't do it...

I think it looks kind of cool.

He could have made it much more appealing i.e. lower it, maybe put some nicer wheels etc etc. nevertheless good job!

 

Im a pretty big fan of the XF/slk but i feel just as you do either lower it or a chin spoiler and wheels are a must. All this work was short lived tho the front ends of the new slk 230s and 320s are much sexier than this model. That would be a project!!!

When I was a young kid, I used to see a Yellow taxi running around town that was built with 2 taxi front ends ..
( guess they had rear end collisions on 2 taxis )

Point is, I don't know why, but that picture of that thing with a MB front end and a Crossfire rear end made me think of that .....
