Went to my first show of the summer and took 1St in my class. The first time I've won my first show of the year. Maybe this will be a very good year for the "Ghost".

 

Congrats Jim to you & the "Ghost" on your first win of the season. Very nice looking car. Great looking front corner bumper detail. What part of PA are you in?

 

Pretty much the middle, on the Susquehanna about 55 miles north of Harrisburg. Next weekend there are two shows, Sat. and Sun. I made my front grills and cannards, it makes it a bit unique. I am going to repaint the hood and rear wing soon, and am planning something special, hope it comes out as planned. Thanks for the compliments.

to seeing you again. I still haven't found that accelerator pedal from the Neon to make a dead pedal yet.

As to the Dead Pedal from the Neon, it was the pedal out of a SRT4 model. What about junkyards as a source? I'll do a little research on my end, since I bought mine from a large Chrysler/Dodge dealer in my area. If it's still available, I'll let you know the results.

I stopped by the dealer, no longer sells the gas pedal only, sells the whole arm mechanism and pedal assembly. I found this one on Ebay, click on the link to your browser.

Thanks, Dennis, I'll look into it. I went to my 4th show today and took my third 1st place this year, still have a sow tomorrow.

 

Good luck with that sow, I hear they are kinda hard to catch.

 

Good one, the spell checker didn't get that one. It was hot today so they were slippery but I did manage to catch another 1st. Something is wrong, I've never gone 4 out of 5, not even close. Usually it's more like 1 of 4. We'll see how the summer goes, maybe I should have been looking for car sows all along.
