Looking for SRT-6 in Macon/Atlanta area
Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I just started looking at the crossfires recently, and I must say that I am quickly becoming infatuated with them. I am looking for an SRT-6 conv or coupe (prefer conv.). I would like something with low miles and in the 16 to 18K range. If anyone knows of anything that fits this bill, please let me know. The only thing that I have come across so far is 2005 Chrysler Crossfire, Tucker, GA, COUPE, Car Connection Inc Stock: 036430 for 18k. Any thoughts as to the price on this. I look forward to making a purchase and becoming a long time contributor to this forum. Cheers!
That's a decent price. You want to check the rims for curb rash. Check the tire for wear a new set will cost you around $1000 if you have to replace them.
I found one, and am in the process of finalizing the sale. It is an 05 srt-6 roadster with 22k miles on it.... Black
The car is located in IL. I hope to fly up the end of this week to pick it up. Then a fun drive back to GA.
Good for you, I am envious since I just have a base model but it is black. Enjoy the trip back home. We took ours on a 230 mile run on Sunday along the Arkansas River. Stopped to watch the river rafters and have lunch on the river. A great run with plenty of curves and a mountain pass or two along the way.
Now you can really get into the forum, they have lots of good advice and are all very helpful. Again.... ENJOY the new ride and if you are ever in Colorado looks us up we would love to go drive....

Thanks Blackberry. Actually, I am jealous of you!!! You are in beautiful Colorado Springs, and I am here in Georgia. I can say this with confidence since I lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years prior to moving to Georgia in 1999. I moved here to get closer to my parents as they are getting up in years. I really miss the Springs, and all of the outdoors stuff it has to offer. I was a member of the Harley Owners Group while I was there, and rode all over the state.... and surrounding states.... I really loved hitting the slopes in the winter as well. I had the opportunity to run some class 4 rapids. Got to do some hot air ballooning, and I also miss partaking in the excellent micro-brews downtown. I lived in SW CS while I was there. Maybe I will get the chance to head out that way someday.
Like I said before, if you ever get back this way we would love to meet up. I have been here since '82 and will never leave. There are lots of things to do in Calif. where I am orginally from but I am in love with this state.
