I have decided to list my SRT 6 for sale and buy a corvette. (yeah, I know, dime a dozen conformist) I am the original owner of this 2005 aero blue convertible. It has 18000 miles and a new set of tires. I have the 'needs wings' CAI and a ECU Tune from one of the forums listed vendors.

KBB has it at 22,635. None are found on Autotrader at all, only coupe's. One of the 05 srt6 coupes is listed at 23,900.

The roadster is a rare breed. None are available anywhere. I am asking 21,900. It has new hankook V12 Evos, the oil was just changed 200 miles ago. I will leave the Needwings intake and you get the ECU tune thrown in.

All I can say...is GOOD LUCK !! ( shaken head) ...non-production car...parts in 5 years POOF... but hey !!! on the bright side... SELL if you have too.... I'm just a septic on prices for these cars.

that is a good price for a roadster, they seem to be holding their value better. I don't need another one, I will be looking for a coupe next summer. Good luck with your sale....and which model of vette are you getting? I really don't miss mine, I like my XF better than any vette I have owned...

 

I'm looking at a 2006 Z51 . It has triptronic 6 speed paddle shift, navigation plus all the goodies. More Horsepower, wider tires, bigger brakes, magnetic suspension should make autocross and the occasional track day more competitive.

 

Good luck with your sell. You do know that this is the worst time of year to get the best $ for your roadster? If you can wait until next spring/summer you're chances of getting the best price are much better.

 

Good luck with your sale, I hope you get your price and more.That is a rare car ,not in production anymore and will probably be a collector car someday. These cars are selling for way to cheap for what the buyer is getting. Twenty years from now you will probably see it at one of those auctions on tv with everybody oohing and aahing as they should be. Awesome car.
