Wow..... One owner with a clean AutoCheck. Someone has the potential to get a great deal here. I wish it could be me.

Thanks TX. The engine bay pictures didn't look so good. And the tire shine treatments were nasty.

Still, for a track machine, an economical platform on which to start.

Sorry about the link. Posted it at work and even checked it. Sent a PM to Tighed1 with a link. Wonder if he got it.

On the one TX posted and said was trashed, it had for optional equipment, volt/boost/oil temp gauges? I didnt even know that was an option offered for the SRT. Is that right?

No. Would have to be after market. But, I see no added gauge pod in the pictures. Might be a shoddy install the seller didn't want to show.

Nice pick up Mike.

There is always, in any car line, someone who craps up a nice one. This may be one of those.
Sad Shame if it is.

Once again I get the urge to start a humane shelter for wayward and abused Crossfires.

Can't you just see it. Grand public service TV commercials with has been actors, tearjerk music and big puppy eyes ( OK foggy headlight lenses) begging for donations to make them well and find a good home.

Message received. Thanks for lookin' out for me Franc.
I'm looking for a real bargin XF for my project. Have been emailing local AZ folks that are selling in hte $8k range and trying to talk them down even more. Wish I could find one with a blown up engine. That would be a perfect car for me.

Since we're talkin' cars, I'll be posting my Chevelle on eBay soon. Will be willing to trade for a auto, red roadster or $17K one dollar bills! Preview...

To name a few the interior roof was hanging down in several places, the trunk was all ripped apart were the previous owner removed his speaker system, driver seat is worn out, holes in the dash with aftermarket buttons and switches that serve no purpose, the black interior is all faded, silver door handles are peeling off, guage pillar was lose and bottom one didn't work, front bumper has a lot of paint chips and a bondo job in the bottom middle, lots of scratches under the front bumper were the owner must have hit several curbs, spray painted side lights, loud ricer sounding exhaust, and three engine lights on. Mods were all half *** installs. You can just tell it has been abused. They hide all this very well with the pictures. I'm looking for a keeper and this is not it.

I just realized this one is very close me. Let me know if any of you are serious about buying the car and I'll go take a look at it.

TX-XFire already checked it out. Totaly trashed. I would rather buy the salvage title one in Wisconsin. At least it looked decent.

TX-Xfire was referring to the second link he posted when referring to it as trashed. I believe he was referring to the Black SRT not the Aero Blue. I'm sure if anyone is interested they could get a steal of a deal on this...Hell maybe even right at 10k.

Exactly. TX-Xfire was referring to a different one. This one looks very clean according to the pictures. The only problems I see is the burn mark on the driver's side armrest and of course it's the wrong color.

Anyone interested should run a Carfax report. It's located in a burb on the east side of Dallas. I would be glad to go have a look at it.

Even though the auction is over, I'm sure they'll be willing to deal.

Yeah but through a dealer there's all of that tax, Doc Fees, Mama needs a new pair of shoes fees....

Sure would have been a killer deal for a NA owner though.

I'm still convinced you could talk them down to $10k out the door...
