'05 Blaze Red Roadster for sale
Edited post, dropped price and updated information. 2-25-2011
My wonderful little dream car is for sale. I got the Graphite one, and it's a stick - so it's time to let this one go.
Someday, I know I will look back and realize that I should have kept this little gem, but my job is in trouble and I have got sell the car, the house and move to a more secure job (which I think I have found!)
This car is always in the garage, and is, I really mean this... in showroom condition. Even under the HOOD!
There is not a cleaner, more well kept Roadster out there than mine. It has all the original accessories, manuals, tire pump (still in the plastic bag), NAV CDs and a complete service history.
$13,250 with General UHPs with 15,000 miles on them or $14,000 with the new Hankooks.
EDIT: Sold it to CareMax for $13,500 with the General UHPs last weekend. {More than any individual would pay}
Sorry, I HAD to get it sold. Thanks all - Pizza 3/20/11)

$20,147 is their "No Haggle" price.
I was told I paid too much last year, when I paid $17, 645. CarMax does not "dicker" or "haggle"... they gonna get $20K?

Have these cars come back up in value? I bought mine on July 6, 2010 in Gainesville, GA.
Mine is a 100% Southern car (other owner was in FLowrey Branch, GA.) I wonder where this one has been since 2005?

well, on one hand it's nice to see prices going up, if they seem to be on here with CarMax, but on the other is suspect their no haggle price will be heading in a southerly direction. Way too much IMO and if they offerred you 14 then I think you should take it, and find what you want on the forum. You'll do well! In fact I might even do that.
I'm not taking $14K for it. I'll keep it FOREVER for that amount of money. I keep reading about 12k Roadsters and 9 or 10K Coupes but the only Coupes for that price I see have 100,000 or close to it on the clock.
My car is about as "showroom" as you can get, even the CarMax guy (and Hope) said that. Of course, we ALL think OUR stuff is worth more than anyone else's. Human nature, I guess.

Been thinking of trying to get a local dealer to put it on his lot for like 5% commission.
It needs to be SEEN by people! They have a 04 black limited coupe with 68,000 on it for $12944 and he SWEARS it'll sell quick. If so, I need him to sell MY car for ME!

But it was fun talking to him - I am gonna hold out for a red one. Dont' want no "buyers' remorse".
It is time. My Red Roadster is for sale. A family/personal crisis forces this, my only happiness is that I won't be Crossfire-less.
Car has:
34,000 miles
New Hankooks all the way round with under 500 miles on them.
New Battery in October, 2009.
Top treated with 303 last fall.
Electric trunk lock repaired November 2009 - it'll never screw up again!
I have not done the "stick ignition key fix" yet, would do it for you if you ask me to!
It has the slow trans fluid leak that these autos get - I'll try to get this fixed in the next 10 days.
It comes with all manuals, Nav CD's in original cartons, window sticker, service record back to day 1, the top tool, jack and tire sealer (both in original plastic), and the cover/case for the windbreak.
Factory clean and nice smell inside! Engine not even dusty (because I dust it every month.)
$14780 (the $14,000 CarMax offered plus $780 for the tires.)
The car is being driven about 20 to 40 miles a week, only cause I hate to let a car sit.
Phone number (encrypted to avoid the spybots): 7 oh six nine 87 three two four 1

sorry man for the situation you must be in. But that's all. It's just a car. You have the other one anyway since you need a car one way or the other. Be well. call me via PM if you want, and we can chat from there when and if you want, bro.
Thanks! I know I'lll late'r realize she is "the one I should have never sold" but this is about money, and wha'ts really important in life.
'Nuff Said.

Sorry to hear you have to sell her and good luck with your situation. I'd sure love to take her and provide a good home to her. I've been monitoring your posts and love the one about the claybar -- so I know she's been well preserved.
I want a roadster to add to my coupe and although I've never been one for a red car, a red crossfire roadster is on the top of my list. Unfortunately I have a little thing called college I just started paying for this month (son goes away in the fall - so I'm on an advance payment schedule for which they provide some incentives) so that's my priority for now.
Best of luck and I hope she goes to a deserving home.

THanks guys, and Andy - I should have sold her to you but my life has been nuts since the divorce.
In the next few weeks, much about my life may change (no, not getting married).
My priorities shifted like a landslide in the past 24 hours. If I can't sell it by April, it'll go to Carmax.
I could sell the Graphite one, but I like a stick and that car is not nearly as "showroom" as the red one.
The Red one will go much easier. I hope someone buys it who garages her and is all obsessive about
never driving it in the rain or snow!
The Gray one will be my "buddy" and she'll have 100,000 on her in five years! We'll be fine together!!!!

Did you get a dealer to sell it for you? I pass a red convertible every morning at a dealer at the Mall of GA. They had a black coupe too, but I havn't seen the last couple of days.
If its this one, then no, thats not his

That car is the one I test drove during the ice/snow chaos a month ago. We bought a black one with 30K more miles, but far cleaner, and I would not trade it for the red one. Pizzaguy mentioned that red one as probably a good one to pass up. It's advertized on Craigslist or Autotrader at $13,990 and they wouldn't budge, though I had the cash.
I didn't know about Pizzaguy's, but Cathy wanted a manual if I bought, so his was a no go anyway.
Got to go, have a car to drive!
