WTB SRT6 Coupe
I've had 2 people contact me, but they are really far away from me (Denver, CO).
I'll keep both of those in mind, but if you have one for sale, anywhere, please feel free to let me know.

Not too particular about color, but something with relatively low miles would be considered most.

Thanks ERZER.
I have a new garage queen in mind so this "extra" one is for sale.
I'll even throw in a delivery drive to CO.

Now you want recent pictures?
You don't sound serious.
The car is looking exactly like it did when those were taken, IF NOT BETTER.
There are a dozen folks here to vouch for the condition of the car.
And Itsky is right there in Denver. Ask him.
I'm fine with just keepig the car unless there is an eager buyer who really wants it. It is a shame for its beauty to be hidden in the garage but my grandson will love it.
suit yourself.

I will vouch for the car...I have seen it in person....and it looks just like the one in my avatar....and I will add this, the aero blue is a dream to keep clean as opposed to the black roadster which I have to detail before I go anywhere....

I left work early today to go test drive one that was advertised as silver, but it turned out to be light blue. I definitely will not buy one that is light blue, so I guess I am more particular about color than I thought I was.
If you don't think I'm serious, that's fine. I asked for recent pictures here, and in a PM. I find it strange that, on the one hand, you say you want to sell it, but on the other hand, you won't provide pictures and instead instruct me to talk to other people that will vouch for the car. Like they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words, especially words between strangers. If I'm going to consider purchasing a car from 800 miles away, I think that a request for a current picture is entirely reasonable.
I get the impression that you are not an eager seller.
And if you're in Denver, I wouldn't recommend this car (which I assumed based on the dealer, but since I'm a serious buyer looking for one of these cars, and it was in town, I had to look):
2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6
The car on the lot is not the car in the picture. Lots of valve chatter at low RPMs, lots of scrapes on the rear where it must have spun off the road, a very well used tow hook, and it was a smokers car.

I have a black SRT Roadster, and if I could do it all over again, I would have bought an Aero Blue one. I have seen several in person since I purchased mine, and the Aero Blue looks the best of any of them. Not that I do not like my black one.... I just wish I did not have to spend so much time detailing her as compared to what it would take on other colors.
As far as Franc goes..... He is one of the most respected members of this forum, and has done much to make this community what it is today. He has over 10,000 posts on this form, so he would not do anything to jeopardize the standing that he has created here over the years he has invested in building relationships and life long friends. Just my 2 cents, but I do understand your perspective from a buyers point as well.
One piece of advice that I would share, is that there is a lot of value with purchasing a car that belongs to an enthusiast and member of this forum as they tend to be much better taken care of than the norm, and the history of the car will usually be detailed in the posts made by the owner over the time that he has owned it.
Good luck with your quest.

I can't argue with anything you posted, thanks. I joined the forum specifically looking for a car because I'd prefer to purchase a car with a relatively known history. I'm sure Franc is a really good guy, and I'm not trying to appear difficult. I'm just trying to make an informed decision. And I don't feel that I can do that based on pictures that were taken last year.
The other problem I have is that I've never seen an aero blue crossfire in person. Any my research can't find one (SRT6 or otherwise) that I can go look at in or around Denver. I'm not sure it's a color I can live with. I thought I might like the silver blue, until last night when I went to look at one and really didn't like the color. I'd like to see an aero blue in person.
I plan on buying a SRT6 as a second car and keeping it for a while. I don't want to regret the purchase based on color.

Just picked the car up from the shop. State inspection and my friend of 30 years says the car is in excellent shape.
He could not do anything about the color so ,,,,,,,,,,,
It is still Aero Blue
38K on the Clock (I was over estimating before)
No warning lights on the dash.
Runs great
As virginal as a 37K 6 year old car should be
$16.5K
Thanks for the kudos guys.

I talked to Franc this morning. It turns out that a good friend of mine is only 5 miles down the road. So he's going to check it out for me sometime in the next week. As a bonus, he's owned a SLK32 AMG since 2002, so he has a pretty good idea of what he's looking at.
We are cool Shakey. I have the car at the plant now, in the warehouse.
Have your friend contact me at his convenience. If he does not get me, I might be in Hippie ridge (SE MO ) working on the ranch. So, he can call my wife.
You have both numbers
As Erzer said, I have two Crossies, one just like this only modded. That one is Cathy's. So she could tell your friend anything he wanted to know.
As I drove it out to Wentzeville this morningg I had that nagging question I always get when selling a good Benz,,,"why would I want to sell this great car?"
Because someone who really appreciates it could also have the pleasure.
Besides, I want one of these

roadster with a stick
"the way it should be"

Glad to know it is all cool and I hope it works out for both of you. If you do get it, I certainly hope to see you at the CAA in your area this year...were it a roadster, know I would have already had it in my position if he'd of let it go.
Good luck to you both

I hope to find a SRT6 by the time of the Colorado event this summer. If I read right, you are eating at the White Fence Farm one night. That restaurant happens to, literally, be in my backyard, so that would be convenient.
