Default Considering Selling SRT6 Roadster

Hey guys,

I am near Chicago. We just lost our day care and it was ultra cheap. I would now consider selling my 05 Black SRT6 Roadster with 46,xxx miles on it. It's 99% stock and very clean. I just bought it last month from a dealer. The car came with a 30 day warranty, which is expired but should tell that its sound mechanically. Since I bought it, I have installed a new IC pump, have performed a full cleaning, wax, interior shampoo and have removed the resonator. I still have the stock resonator if you'd want it, but most would agree that it is a great mod. The car has the facotry Continental tires on it and they are all brand new. The car has fresh Mobile One oil and all brakes have good life, performed by Mercedes. I have both key fobs and a cover that I would include. The windows are nicely tinted as well. Can't forget the factory nav--it's there! Overall the car has great paint and zero dents or body damage. Clean vehicle history as well. I think I am the third owner. The vehicle was in Phoenix for most of its life. Currently it's not a daily driver. The car needs nothing. If anyone is interested or has any questions, please let me know. I really HATE to do this, this soon, but family always comes first. For the right offer, the car can be yours. Low ball offers, and I will just find a way to keep it somehow. I have not yet considered the taking price but I have $18,600 into the car at this point. Thanks.

Wow you guys must feel for me. Perhaps I need to keep! Thanks.

I'd be curious as to what's the matter here, my tone or price.

It could be that its only been 24 hours and you don't have any pictures posted, I'd be interested if I was in the market for one...

Not exactly sure what you are assuming. Cars are selling slow right now.

Interest in aquisition of anew one is even slower.

I've had one up for weeks with hardly a response unless I bump it.

Your posting just happened to be up onthe "new posts" because you added a new post. This suggests few who were actually intersted, actually saw it.

Be patient . And every few days post a bump to bring it back into view.

You might post some pictures if you want real interest. I know, we all ought to have some idea of what a black SRT roadster looks like.

Hell, I got scolded because my original pictures were a year old. Like things had some how changed

I have some interest in a roadster, but not right now and not a black one. Please, don't take either of those things as personal.

I want to sell my "extra" coupe because I need capital, in cash, for my business and/or my son is looking for a house and may need some down money.

Once things are back to normal, I want an aero blue or graphite roadster to put away for the day I get tired of rowing gears.

Like I said, it ain't personal.

I think I understand his tactic... "Yeah honey, I'll try and sell the crossfire but it's close to impossible to sell this POS nowadays.." touche salesman.. touche.

Agree with what others have said, slow down and don't expect an offer within 24hrs...if then. Part of your problem, outside of no pictures, you are saying no low ball offers and that you have $18,600 into the car which implies what?

Consider your taking price, post it with some pictures, give it some time while keeping in mind not everybody here has the disposable income you would hope and some are in a similar situation with worries about job stability.

Good luck

Car is no longer for sale:

We have resolved our situation so the car will not be for sale. A miracle occured to say the least.

However, we will be buying a bigger house next summer so I may need to free up some funds. My question is, once I do decide to relist it, is it better overall to be stock or slightly modded? Or, is there no difference in pricing with mods being taken into account vs. stock.

Sorry for any confusion and sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. I'll see you guys around and for the patient members, please hold tight.
