Not Mine - - - But not for a lack of trying . . . Beautiful low mileage SRT6 coupe!
I found this ad on AutoTrader.com early this morning. I contacted dealer immediately. Over a period of the next 6+ hours I went back and forth talking with the salesman (Dan) and the sales manager (Joseph). Finally the General Manager Mike refused to make a deal with me.
First they claimed the advertised price was a mistake and that was their cost on the car not the asking price but the salesman went to the sales manager with a copy of the AutoTrader ad and he agreed to honor the price saying "we are reputable dealership so we will honor the advertised price". I tried to give them a $1,000.00 deposit.
Then they started back-peddling . . . next they claimed their actual cost was $12,047 because the car had gone through their service department. I offered to step up and buy the car for that amount and tried again to give them a deposit.
Then they claimed that in addition to the $12,047 there was a dealer fee of $469.00 that I would have to pay. After thinking it over I called them back and offered to step up and pay $12,047.00 + the $469.00 dealer fee and again tried to give them a deposit.
They again back-peddled and came back saying that the General Manager (Mike) refused to sell the car for that price.
About 8 hours after saying that their ad was a mistake, I see that the ad is still running unchanged. THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP! Certainly they have a very nice, well cared for SRT6 but I wouldn't deal with them now if they had the last Crossfire SRT6 on the planet!
Maybe someone who wants the car can go to the dealership in person and cut a reasonable deal??
Note the photo of the radio & A/C controls. I'm sure someone here or with CICCI (Itsky) can figure out who owned that clean low mileage SRT6 . . .

Good luck . . .
PS - I ran a CarFax report on the car and it came back clean . . . no accidents / one owner car / mileage checks out . . . This is a nice one!

That's one of our Nissan dealers, it's interesting to me that they're so conflicted on the price. They need to remove the ad ASAP if it's truly that far off... no doubt it's generating some buzz.
I'm not 100% sure but there was a Lynchburg member that had a SSB SRT-6, username = Rokypoky (sp?)
Clean car and appears to be well cared-for.

Yea Dog, I see what you mean, sweet 'looking' deal.
Where you so "Dogged" because of the low advertised price, the low mileage, or the fact that it has the factory optional diffusers ?

All of the above. I WANTED that SRT6! But by the time they got me up to about $12,500 and I still had to get it from TN and pay the tax and transfer, it wasn't such a sweet deal anymore! Think I'll make an offer on M3pig's SRT6 . . .

I will put good money on that being Steve's...RokyPoky's......
I was wrong...as Dave looked it up.... Can't imagine 2 of the same car being sold that close together, but numbers don't lie...and it looked gray, not aero blue.
Either way, Red Dog, they will wish they took your offer before it's said and done...hard to sell in the winter time...

The good news is that I struck a deal with M3pig to buy HIS SRT6 coupe . . .
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-its-time.html
I plan to go pick it up next Wednesday! . . . We'll be joining the TWO Crossfire family group! YEAH!

VALK . . . YOU deserve to be driving an SRT6! Time to let go of the '04?? OR maybe you need a second Crossfire to keep one somewhere near Fontana Dam so you'll have a Crossfire to drive when you fly in for the TOD meets . . .
