'05 SRT-6 convertible
I have an 05 SRT-6 convertible for sale starting this weekend . Gun metal grey. 19k miles. I have only put about 500 miles on it in the last 3 years. It is started every week and driven about 1/2 mile every two weeks. I love this car and used it to attract the opposite sex when I was single. ( It did a fantastic job ! ) But when I met my the lady who became my wife I didn't need it as much. New tires 5 years ago. ( maybe 750 miles on them) It is dusty but that's it. It's like your own barn find ! The price is $20,250.00
It sounds like a great car. I just paid $19,300 plua $1,750 to ship it, for my SRT6 coupe with 8,460 miles if you need a comparative sale. I looked for, at least five weeks for a clean, low mileage SRT6. I found them from a low of 10,500 to a high of 25,000. It all came down to mileage, condition and color for me and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I feel that anyone who buys in today's market will enjoy a great car for a fantastic price that should only go up in value.

Had to go to houston today. I'm going to put up pics tomorrow. I'm going to show it as it is but will detail if buyer wants it done. Funny thing though, the first thing someone does with a new car is wash it!
You are right about being in top shape to get top price, but I just wanted to show an honest car about almost being a barn find. The dust will wash off , but once its off it won't show the same. to loksch: there are no mods to the car , it is as it came from the factory. ( I really can't think of a reason to make it go faster! or change the look! to me its stunning! And there are not very many around so to me, there is little need to make it look different. ) The only repair that was made was to have the headlamp lens replaced while under warranty. It was adult owned and driven only by me since I got it at 3000 miles. It was always garaged. It was always an intown car. The longest trip that I drove it was two hrs. BTW I still have the luggage ( unused )that came with it and it goes to the new owner. It also comes with a A/C D/C CD- Back in Black. ( Really the only music that should be played with the top down. IMHO )

These are some pics of my Crossfire, Soon to be somebody else's. The dust will wash off, but you can see it has not been a daily driver at any time. My brother said if I really did sell my Crossfire he was going to take points off my Man Card . BTW this car makes ME look good ! ( yes those are all my personal vehicles in the background )

To badgerb4: The car has a clean good title from Oregon. ( I bought the car in AZ and in 07 I moved to Portland and now reside just outside Dallas.) Every time I have moved my baby was shipped by trailer. Always stored inside. I drove it yesterday. Beautiful ! ! It's going to be hard to let go.
(Given that I am looking at up to or exceeding $5000 in medical bills in the next six weeks, I'm off the market for a bit. Were it not for that, since this is THE car I am looking for, I'd offer $17K. Why so low? Read on.)
1) Leaving bug guts on a car ruins the finish, given there is DUST all over it, I can tell you don't clean the bug guts off before putting it away - that is a red flag to me. Clean it up and show there is no damage to the finish up front.
2) Additionally, it does not look like the top is clean, either. And it does not look like the top has been treated in ages, how often do you apply something to protect the top from birds, UV, etc.? What product do you use?
You are on a web site of obsessive, protective, informed and experienced Crossfire psychotics here - and you are screwing up big time. This does not look like a car that has been caressed and babied to me.

To Pizzaguy: I'm sorry about the medical issues. I hope it works out for the better. About the car: You are right about this being a gem ! That's why I posted it here first. These are the informed people that will be crazy for this car or just crazy. I don't mind you calling me out about the dust and dirt. I know it will wash off. Bug guts? Maybe cobwebs. When I moved to this part of Texas I wound up living in the country 1/4 mile down a gravel road. When I drive it once every two weeks , I drive at 15mph to keep the dust as down as I can. The fact that yall are informed was a small concern of mine as I know that the prices for the normal Crossfire is down. But . . . This is not the norm. And I wanted you to see it the way it is. I did not go to ebay or craigslist 1st for a reason. I wanted somebody that would enjoy this car that knows what it is not just somebody that wanted an open top car for the spring and tear it up. You're the guy I want to sell it to !

The car is still for sale. I was going to put it on craigslist this past weekend but my wife's mom passed away out of state. So I won't be available to show it for the next to weeks.
To Red Dog: It deserves to be clean, and driven. That's why it is for sale here first. It's only the worst presentation in your opinion or.... if it does not sell for my price. ( BTW that is not an underhood shot of my car ! )
