Convertible top doesn't look to happy on the passenger side view.. and it does state rebuilt title..

 

sure as hell doesn't look like it has a very good life..... need someone to see that one in person....

 

Another rescue roadster for Red Dog maybe ?

 

Just looked at this post . . . Interesting that the seller lists it as being "NEW", a "COUPE" and "4WD".

As much as I did enjoy working on / restoring my rescue roadster, I've learned that it's smarter to just find a clean low mileage car and pay the price upfront.

I'll be happy to go and look at this car if any forum member is seriously interested in buying it.

 

I sent him a text, will see if he answers. However zooming into the picture with the open door, it looks like a damaged car, check out the white scratches close to the door. Thats why the door is open when they made the picture. Now the damaged top makes sense as well. Hmmmm

"Rebuilt" title in Florida means that it was assembled from several totalled cars. Drivetrain could be from anything & could have started with a coupe.

 

Did someone think it was a frame off restoration??

 

I tried to call,, it says in the add Miami, but the phone # is Ft Lauderdale Where I am ,,and the map shows it is in the north end of miami almost on the broward county line about 15 miles from me. maybe i'll take a ride down there. this next week. jim

P S rebuilt ,,I really don't want it anyway.

 

Wheels are extra per the ad..... I guess he still has the originals.

Just spoke to the guy, His name is SMOKE, he aid nothing,, he said he is the third owner, he doesn't know why the car has a rebuild title , it had a fender and headlight and front bumper replaced, 5000 is what he went to with out me seeing the car. he also said the car is in the ac shop,and will be there for a week or more and can be seen there AAA AC 18401 nw 2 ave miami fl, 2m ave is highway 441 I may go there next week if i can. jim

 

I personally never consider cars with history of accidents. Its buying trouble

 

true, but it depends on what you want to do with it. Jim, if you look at it, you know what I would want to do, so the drive train has to been good....let us know what you think.
