Your car really looks great, but get ready to get beat up on the price by some forum members, it's happened in the past.
Good luck with the sale!

Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
Thanks to both of you, I'm sure the right buyer will come along eventually. My stance is if someone can find a lower price on a car with lower mileage, by all means, go buy that one. My guess is there aren't too many left out there that fall into the same bucket as mine though now that the car is 10 years old.
...and I did say OBO

Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
Other using a time machine to find one in equal condition and mileage, I am not sure how a comparable one be found.
This asking price does not even compensate for ten years of controlled storage much less provide a return on investment. I suggest the only party that is qualified to criticize someone else's asking price is the owner of an SRT6 in similar condition and mileage that is willing to sell if for less. And, that still is not real great etiquette on an enthusiast site.
Beautiful car. Well photographed. Good luck with the sale.

Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
I have same car/color with 14 k miles on it. I threw it up last year for 16,000.00. No real buyers at that. Decided just to keep it. $ 15-20 grand doesn't buy much these days. These should be worth a lot more , but it is what it is. The thrill of driving it's priceless..
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
I like your pricing....but not many have sold that high in a long time... The 10 year old car thing hurts as well since banks cut most lending at 10 yr old cars. I love the color. Hope you get it, so I can sell mine that high. Good luck...
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
For comparison's sake, the one at Mecum Kissimmee this year had only 527 miles and brought a whopping $16,000. It only had a couple of door dings (small) on the driver's side.
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
Thanks all, I'm really just putting a price on it that I feel the car is worth. Until someone shows interest and wants to throw me an offer, I really don't know what it's worth to someone who is in the market for one.
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
Beautiful. I still don't understand why the value of the rare SRT-6 has went done SO much. I really think the market needs to change and I hope sellers stick to their guns and ask more then what the generic KBB/edmunds/NADA guides say its worth. There is quite a bit more factored into a car... I believe yours is well worth $20k FIRM.
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
My experience with buying low mileage cars with a few years on them has taught me provenance is of utmost importance.
In 1987 I purchased one of the last 50 Lotus Elites imported in 1980. At the time it had a documented approximately 3,000 actual miles on it. But for the fact it had been tied up in court while Rolls Royce, Lotus, the dealer and the owner battled for those seven years and it had sat unloving parked outside in the Miami sun that might have been good news. There were some interesting stories with that one including it had the original oil filter still on it. I am sure some might think I got a great buy until the total cost of getting back on the road was factored in. I expensively learned there is no way to ever make up for an unloving owner.
Recently, I purchased a 2006 Jaguar with 11,000 miles on it. The greatgrannie who had owned it since new found it easier to get in and out of the Subaru she kept parked outside of the garage than this one which she kept inside. It is as new in all respects. This was her second V8 Jaguar and each service had been done by the calender at the delivering dealership. I looked her in the eye and saw the tears when she handed me the keys and skinny folder of history including the window sticker.
To think, it had nearly three times as many miles.....

Beautiful Crossfire! It's worth every bit of $20k. Unfortunately, a 10 year old car will require a cash buyer or someone that can get a loan on a 10 y.o. car which can be difficult from a private seller.
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank all of you that reached out via PM and showed interest, but still no buyer at this point. I just wanted to give a "2 minute warning" for anyone that has been on the fence and wanted to make an offer that I'll be placing the car for sale out to a wider audience this weekend. I also uploaded a picture of the current mileage in the original post if there was any curiosity there. Thanks again all!
Re: 2005 Graphite SRT-6 for sale, low mileage
First you have a beautiful car no doubt about that. I just bought mine srt6 last Wednesday in Cincinnati Ohio same color for $13,000 with 23,000 miles. They wanted $16,800 back in January then down to $14,500 in February. The first day it drop to $13,000 I bought it. I no it has twice the miles as yours but still. Just wanted to give you an idea what there going for. Best of luck.

Sounds like you got an excellent buy (even though at that rate of depreciation I think I would have waited another couple of months).
While I am happy for you, I cannot help but feel your good fortune should be noted in some other thread rather than in this seller's.
Maybe the new owners section?
