$45K for a 10 year old car............I don't think so. Even though this may someday be a collector car and the mileage etc. all merits premium money, I think he'll be lucky getting in the mid to upper 20s. I'd love to buy it myself but even though it's a like new car with very low miles, you can buy a new car, with all the bells and whistles, and get something in the premium range for close to that price. I wish him good luck, but I'm pretty skeptical he'll get the price unless it's some really rich guy who wants another toy to add to the collection...........

There are an awful lot of uninformed ( read STUPID ) buyers out there.
My wife sells trinkets on eBay, she often gets sales for 4 or 5 times what someone else has listed for the same item.

No one seems to have indicated to him that the car will Never sell for $45K. (Unless the Fed again devalues the dollar.)
His opening bid of $26 is possible, but unlikely.

Wow - and I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get 10,500.00 for mine - a Limited Roadster with 34,000 miles - just put on new tires. Maybe I outta put it on EBay!
