2005 convertible base auto trans VIN 1C3AN65LX5X031321 51,300 miles Car is in Savannah, GA.
The car is straight and presents well. Interior is in good condition. Driver seat looks good with no tears or scuffs.
Runs and drives well
Problems:
Currently having autotop issues. Definitely a sequencing problem, maybe worse?
Rear window fell out. After an ill advised tape attempt, Father in Law used guidance from this forum for glue job. Currently holding.
Headlights are crazed.
I am confident I can get the top working - at least to the manual up and down level.
FIL passed away, I am considering just giving it to the bank as the loan balance exceeds $6K.
If I do this, I will attempt to advise the forum on where/how they plan to liquidate it.
I am reluctant to just surrender the car but doubt it could be sold for more than the payoff.
My mother in law is basically judgement proof. The hit to her credit is not a factor.
You have a Limited model, not a base. Anything less than $6K would be a deal for someone that can make the repairs on their own. 51K mileage nice. Nice looking car. Good luck with your sale.
WoW that's crazy it ended up in the LKQ Pick your Parts Yard after left abandoned at Savannah Cars lots on White Bluff. I got some parts from it said to see it there all working just no keys!
If there is a Crossfire @ LKQ, it isn't thie one pictured above. My sister in law has been driving it and just operating the top manually.
When did you see the car @ LKQ< I will tell my BIL to go after any parts he may need.
