2008 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe in SD
Re: 2008 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe in SD
I've also got pictures of car before it was prepped & detailed for sale. Dealer sent them to me about 10 days ago when I first saw car listed on AutoTrader.

When will they stop armor-all'ing these cars??? IF you apply that stuff your stuck with having to reapply it on a regular basis. Damn stuff breaks down whatever it is applied too. I HATE THAT!

WOW, Have you purchased so many vehicles lately that this has now become a maintenance problem for you? Nice problem to have
As long as people continue like shiny interiors in cars, dealers will continue to comply
hmm, no shiny interior, no sale or a sale at a reduced margin. Wow as a dealer that would make me so happy

Here i what the engine bay looked like when the car first arrived at dealer. Primary reason I didn't put a deposit down to have 1st crack at purchase when all the prep & detail work was completed. Notice the air inlet tubes are both disconnected.
And here is what it looked like after pre-sale work was completed. Hard to imagine it was the same car.

AS IF dealers give two (fill in the blank) if the car is sold. All most dealers care about is the check clearing or if the contract is legal and binding. After its gone, you move on to the next. Speed 'in' / 'out', and KaChing!. A good detailing takes time and effort, all hidden by that 'OH SO SHINY' job the armor-all does.

If I was a dealer, I would care if it sells and I would want to sold really fast
All dealers are running a business of flipping steel and the bank is holding paper
The longer it sits the more it costs and the smaller the margins at time of sale.
borrowing $$$$ costs $$$
turn and earn

if you tell me that I’m wrong then you’ve never been out with your significant other for date night.

There is no right/wrong...
I've been super lucky in that regard, first pick without all the games. Just what price vanity? Expectations vs reality! LMAO
