Rudy is finishing up the last V8 conversion, a 2005 gray coupe SRT6 the v8 engine has 42000 miles on it transmission is new rebuilt for this car. new Hankooks tires/ with limited rims.,,

note: if you paid around $15,000 for your car and wanted a V8 conversion $ 20,000.00 or more ( V8 engine and tranny determines the price) so you can see this is the cheapest V8 crossfire ever.

The V8 engine is the 5.5 AMG supercharged motor form a 2005 SL55 ( 42000 miles on it) with 485 hp from the factory,,(at the flywheel ) this is the same engine that is in my car,,,, a tune, exhaust, intake, & pulleys make it about 585hp. my car with a little more done is 625 at the rear wheels.

for the inquired minds,, for the last 3 to 4 years Rudy, and I ,,Jim have been working on a 5.5 twin turbo for us to race, first I bought a srt6 , we were looking for a twin turbo V8 and ran out of funds due to the cost of my health, we had to cancel that project but being i have my spare engine 5.5, and Rudy has the new rebuilt transmission, we went ahead with putting a supercharged V8 into the srt6 we have so yes i am the person you contact for information ,and if you are interested in buying, contact me by Pm or email amx1397@gmail.com right now the car is 50% done ,it should be complete by late June or July , jim

 

I have been wondering what you two were up too. Glad your health is better Jim. You are a fighter sir. If my roadster sells, I'm your man. But that hasn't happened yet. This is a true SRT6 I take it. The wheels would have to go lol. I will keep watching but my buyer is now putting it off till August and that may never happen. We will just have to see. I take it this will need a wavetrac/rear end gear change if I so desired?

 

yes true srt 6+2 LOL, thank you,, yep,, got through another one 2004 colon cancer,,2015 prostate cancer,Dec 2016 (dr said i had 23 heart attacks with 4 of them major ,,,got 3 stents got the ok july 2017 ,, all good now,

yes the limited wheels is all i could find at the time a few months later red dog had a set of srt wheels by then i was on my way to Rudy with the car,, tires have from ft laud. to
Chicago on them ,, correct there is no wave trac, and stock pulleys and the stock rear 3.07 in still in the car.

yes i have 3 people that are interested , none have put money down on it, so again yes it is still for sale.

 

well now that i sold my (world fastest crossfire ) car, this car is, yes still for sale, but not for long as i may keep it for myself and do another build,,maybe a trade and money, ,,, with out this car or a traded srt convertible , I may have nothing to drive, ( may be getting a C320 wagon on monday.) anyway yes as of now it is still for sale.
Rudy is bringing this new srt6+2 (V8 conversion) car to the dragon and I am taking it from there to Florida,

never bored, with cars,,, just new things we may put a twin turbo mercedes into a crossfire, the only thing with a TT the chassis needs work. I still have the gray srt6+2 ,,V8 to play with, unless someone wants it .
