North American factory units are not locked, as far as I know......at least mine wasn't. If you're not pre-wired you'll need a speed sensor wire, back-up signal wire and an antenna adapter. Becker USA has them available. You'll also need a Euro antenna cable (GRE40EU10). GPS antenna can be had from Becker USA or the Dealer but is half the price from Top-Art Shop : eBay.co.uk Shop ? Top-ArtShop: Search results for.

Can this replace non-nav unit, or does it need to be modified?
Thanks

If you didn't have the Nav-Radio from the factory, you will need this AM/FM antenna adapter. Scosche VWA-3B The wiring will all be the same though so with this adapter, it will be plug and play. If you don't have the GPS antenna either, you will need this WICLIC GPS Antenna. Hope this helps.
