Default Underengine cover

Well I washed my car today, and just drove it into the garage to dry it off. When I opened the hood a couple of hours later, I looked down and there was a pool of water sitting at lower cover. Has anyone drilled a couple of holes in the cover to stop the pooling?
Thanks, Bob

There is already one hole their, and if you drive once around the block all of the water drains as you drive.

That freaked me out the first time I noticed that. I thought it was oil and panicked. Called 911 and when they arrived, one of the responders reached down with his finger and said, "Calm down, it is only water."

Ok, that didn't really happen, but I really did freak out and think it was oil for a few minutes until I reached down and found out it was only plain ole' water, and remembered that I just washed it a few hours earlier...
