IT LOOKS LIKE A -CROSSFIRE- HUH?

VERY CLOSE BUT NO cigar!!!

WHAT IS THIS? ANYONE KNOW?

FOUND THIS ON A RUSSIAN WEBSITE
AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND RUSSIAN.

SORRY PEOPLE... JUST FIGURED OUT BY LOOKIN AT WEBSITE THAT ITS AN O P E L SPEEDSTER, I HAVE LOOKED AT OTHER ANGLES OF THE CAR AND THIS IS THE ONLY SHOT THAT REMINDS ME OF THE XF.
SORRY... MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE POSTED THIS IN "OTHER CARS".
ITS 4:00 AM IN MORNING HERE...ZZZzzz.

Hi Josh,

Looks like a Vauxhall VX220 to me - a Lotus Elise with a 2.2 GM engine - I guess they badge them as Opels in the rest of Europe.

Simon, you are correct, it is in fact an Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220. Outside styling not bad, but forget the interior.

A rough translation of the original Russian article from babelfish:

Note:

100 kmh = 62.14 mph (in less than six seconds)

The crossfire is nothing like the Lotus/opel speedster/Vauxhall VX220 (they are all the same car), a normal sized human can drive a crossfire in comfort!

i've been good and busy... with this "thang" i am working on (whenever i am not tending to family members who are still "under the weather" but out of the hospital)...

Hi bollox, cant put Blair on my AVATAR... i respect him!!!

...But after all this time... i always said to myself... that face looks like GWB...

then i saved it to desktop, zoomed in and BAM... there he was clear as day...

i don't know the height but it doesn't look much smaller than the XF...

the female here looks like she is over 6 ft tall!!!

This is the old Opel Speedster. It has nothing to do with the Saturn Sky/Opel GT/Pontiac Solstice except that Opel/GM decided to replace this older Opel that had been around for years in Europe with the newer platform and save bucks by rebadging one for Opel.
