Default CTD Germany door handle inserts

Seriously thinking about the chrome door inserts. How does the shiny chrome work behind the brushed aluminum looking handle? I like the brushed look better. I wish they made the inserts to match the handles. Bob

I'm sure I read in the search section that these can be installed without removing the door panel. Correct? Thanks for pic. Bob

Yes, just pull the handle up then insert the shell in and it's installed!

I would put a masking tape on the silver paint to protect it from scratching since the tips of the shells are pretty sharp.

Here it is on my black..I was kind of hesitant also wondering how the chrome looked behind the silver door handles. I think it blended well!

That looks great! What does something like that cost?

yep, I have them on my white coupe, and they really add a nice little bit of bling. I got them from I think autoxclusive for like 86 for the pair

Looks good, nice shine on the car. What stops water from getting behind the shell? I guess that there is a seal of some form.
