I too am a newbie ... Made my own thread since there wasn't an Intro one.
This is a pretty cool place and I hope you enjoy your 2004 as much as I'm enjoying mine.

Okay - so I found the introduction forum - after all it is a long time since the message to which I am replying - - BUT, here's the thing, I didn't really want to reply to him. I wanted to do my own post about just acquiring a 2006 Limited Coupe to put in the garage alongside my DeLorean. DeLorean ownership has given me 26 years of pleasure (and, I might ad, pain). I fully expcet the same from the Crossifre.
I've got lots of questions but I have to admit that I can't seem to figure out how to start a new thread. Posting item # 137 to a thread that is 4 years old does not seem to make a lot of sense.
I'm a truly old fart, so take it easy on me in those responses.

Go to the section where you want to start a thread and on the left side of the screen on the top or the bottom is the button for making a new thread. Same place you clicked to reply to this post where it says "new reply" but instead it will say "new thread". Hope that helps.
welcome to the forum, i know what your saying about the gto/3000gt/stealth, we are on our 5th tranny in my tt stealth
the crossfire is a much cheaper car to fix, you wont have to cringe every time you launch the car!

I am also new, trying to find my way around here. I got a '04 crossfire, light blue with black / burnt orange inside, '07 vw city golf with 20" rims and a '86 suzuki samurai all set up for playing in the mud.
Welcome to the recent new members who dug up this old thread.
The forum is a good place with some terrific members.
Enjoy your Crossfires and as you use the forum it will grow on you.
Again Welcome , Valk

I'm a new owner, too. Maybe we can make this the new introduction forum.
Just purchased a 2006 inferno red roadster with 7,000 miles. I live in San Diego so I guess I'll be driving with the top down. It is the most impracticle car I have ever owned. There is no trunk space, it only seats two people, it's too fast for my age, and people stare at the car when it is parked or when I drive by. It was probably the stupidest purchase I have ever made but boy, do I love this car!
