super cheap srt6
none in here, but i was just wondering to myself, with srt-6's going for 30-34k (even less in some cases), making them the best deal out there in my mind as far as sports cars go, if anyone had considered really doing the manual swap. does anyone know if its possible at all. i only have a year left on my lease and if it can't be done im sure ill stay crossfire and get an srt-6. just curiosity. if you don't have technical knowledge of the possibility of a swap, please don't respond, no "stupid idea", "tranny will break", "buy an ______ (insert car) instead.
sorry if this post is hard to read, pretty tired, on the insomnia trip right now...

Few will have technical knowledge, fewer will have experience with this. So I can't say ... or ... or ...
Well, let us know how it works out for you. This seems like the surest path to a really cheap Crossfire.
Best,

Best,
its the same block from what i have seen photos of... meaning the bell housing bolt pattern is the same... pop torque converter off and pop stick shift flex plate and clutch on and it will physically all bolt up...
getting the engine management over the fact that its electronically controlled transmission is not there is another story... it'll throw every tranny code in the book at you and most likely stay in limp home mode...
oooh there goes all the extra power... hehe
kleeman high boost kit kit is $9,500 and turn your stick shift crossy into a glorified srt-6 massacre in the straight... needs sway bars and springs/struts to up the handling to srt level...
