Default Advanced Search???

I know this isn't the right place for this but I have 0 responses in the BB forum.

Is there a way to do a phrase search/boolean search like "Black Rims" or "Oil Filter" every time I try I seem to get results with either word not both together. Obviously I have found the Advance Search page but maybe I am using it wrong?

-Thanks

Peculiar... I looked through the FAQ and other places but didn't find anything on an Advanced search. You likely did the same. However, I did put three words in the Search field and it seemed to work fine. I simply used spaces between the words.

Well it doesn't seem to for me... Lets take the term "Black Rims".

When I search on those 2 words I get all is posts with the word "Black" AND all posts with the word "Rims".

What I want is the equivalent of a Google search of "Black Rims" in quotes... returning all posts with the words "Black" and "Rims" together.

Try adding a + sign (no spaces) between each word in your advanced search.

Nope. Is still finds all posts with either term. It looks to me like the only way to do a phrase search is via Google:

"Phrase to Search for here" site:crossfireforum.org

The above seems to work but Im not sure if it would pick up posts entered since Google crawled the site last.

Oh well.
