Well, it seems that some people can't stand it if someone else has nice things.

I woke up this morning to 2 windows smashed in my car. Driver's side and rear window all broken to hell and back. By the way, did you know the rear window is a bit over $400 to replace? Now you do.

I'm sick to my stomach over it.

 

That sucks!
Did the aholes take anything, or were they just smashing windows for fun?

Seems like they were gunning for my car specifically. No other cars on the street were touched. Nothing was removed, nor did they even try.

It was all about breaking the glass. No body damage or tire slashing. No thievery. Just buttheads being buttheads.

 

Sorry...that sucks on so many levels.

 

People like this should receive 40 lashes with a whip. I'm not kidding either, these quality of life crimes sap the strength out of you. What's to say they won't keep doing it. Second offense 100 lashes, third offense death.

 

This reminds me the movie Pulp Fiction where Vince had his car keyed. Lance then said: 'They should be fu**ing killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution!'
Ok, that's why it's called Pulp Fiction. But in those moments such ideas may occur...

i can just imagine the pain you're feeling... that makes me sick to see.

be careful removing the glass from the paint surface and interior seating... the pain could get worse. i would vacuum it off/upward with a shop vac.

GPF, I think people are such "cowards" when they mess with someone's property like that. Try to look on the good side, that it was only glass, and you don't need any paint work done. Thankfully, nothing was stolen.

On a side note, I think I'd be a little ticked off at your dealer for putting their giant "Bill Board" on your rear hatch. I sure hope you're getting a monthly stipend from them for all the advertising your doing.

GPF, so sorry to hear about your car. It sickens me to my stomach when people think they can destroy other peoples' property. I agree with the "lashing" idea!!

Alarm? Well, if it went off, it didn't wake me up. The missus said that the dogs got crazy sometime this morning, but they get crazy when a cat goes down the street. Can't trust them for anything.

Nothing was stolen from the car at all. Radio not jimmied, glove box not rifled through...even my change was still there and my sunglasses were sitting in their usual spot. This wasn't to steal...it was to punish. I had a nice car that was easy to get to and some peckerhead decided that he needed to steal $500 from me.

Dammit.

 

Whatever you do, DO NOT use a razor on the paint!

Just us a heat gun or a hair dryer, heat it up a little and it will peal right off using your fingers.

 

You might use some goo be gone after you lift an edge to assist it the loosing of the glue. Correct no blades.

i don't even have a monitor for the server, i just remote login into it, sits in the basement... i got it after my neon RT was broken into and i realized i was lucky the idiots did not know they where staring at a one of a kind S60 turbocharged 8 injector system under the hood that i had custom created... they stole a metal pipe and filter ($50) and the radio ($100)... but they left everything else hah ! thank goodness people ballsy enough to break into your car are not smart enough to really know much about your car... i guess those that are ballsy and smart steal high price vehicles...

Be careful removing all the broken glass as to not create and more damage.

Hope they don't do it again once its fixed! This just says I can never have it so I will make it rough for you having achieved something I can't They are failures on many levels.

 

Some bad things happen when kids are off from school and I noticed that! Either my yard is vandalized or my Ford Expy's window is smashed! I have installed wireless cameras in my trees and in my roof to catch these rotten kids that they'll spend vacation in jail!

 

Sorry to see your car in that condition, but it could be worse.
I'm with MAYAman. If I ever witnessed anyone doing damage to someone's property I'd make sure they got 100 lashes and they would never do it again. This person is obviously a coward and needs to be taught a lesson. Get the law involved. They have ways of finding these kinds of punks. Good luck!
