Default Clunk when going from reverse to forward

When I back out of my driveway and shift into drive, if the car is rolling a little it really goes into forward had with a clunk is that typical and if not what should be looked at? Thanks.

upstate - I notice the same thing with my '04 and it has done it since the day I bought it two years ago. I don't know if it is normal but I had a Chevy K10 do the same thing for the entire time I owned the truck which was for about 70K miles and never had a problem so I haven't been too concerned. I suspect it may be a u-joint in the drive line, if so, and if others have had it replaced I'll probably do the same. I just hadn't really thought about it until you mentioned it.
